New here-going to MS clinic this week
My Qs: anyone here diagnosed with normal lumbar puncture? Or misdiagnosed with migraine before MS diagnosis? This seems like a lovely community. I'm just going to jump in as I have my first MS clinic appt this week. I have seen two neurologists that say my mri lesions are migraine but my GP said no way

Update on my MG test results
I wrote a few weeks back regarding swollen eyelids and not being able to open eyelids plus I have had double vision for 2 years been under optomology since May last year the blood test came back negative but they are now referring me to a Nuerologist as they said the test isn't 100 per cent. All

I have been suffering from alternating constipation and diarrhoea with agonising left-sided stomach pains every day for about 15 years. All the usual treatments are pretty much useless. Spinal
fusion
complications post op that required operation 10ish days later. IM still having issues and starting my medical board out of the navy. I know I still have a lot of issues to deal with and I know my body tends to get worse with stress.

Pudental Neuralgia
Prior to having a Spinal Cord Stimulator implanted I had another lumbar MRI. I knew from an earlier MRI I had a bulging L5S1 disc This MRI showed the L5S1 disc had ruptured. I have read on line this can lead to Caudal Equina Syndrome as well as cause compression of Pudental nerve via the Piriformis

Hi there, I had

fusion
with instrumentation in Feb 2015 for grade 2 spondylolisthesis as all other avenues had been explored but to no avail. After a lengthy recovery things started to improve but then slowly worsened.

Radiofrequency ablation NHS
**Update I'm having round 2 today, and so far round 1 has led to a 44% reduction. Hi guys, Yesterday I was the 5th person to have radiofrequency ablation (RFA) within the NHS in the UK. This only works for those with healthy thyroid but benign nodules, so if that applied to you read on. I had to

Nervo Spinal Cord Stimulation
I am new to the site. I am considering the use of the Nervo device to relieve my pain. I am signed up for the trial next month and I wonder if anyone who has had experience with the device would share the benefits and any bad news.

Raising money for Myelopathy

What happens after a failed trial spinal cord stimulator?
I had a discectomy 2 years ago which although successful in an anatomical sense resulted in failed back surgery. I attended an 8-day course at St Thomas's on neuromodulation. A month after that I underwent a trial for a spinal cord stimulator. It didn't offer me much respite pain wise and decided

Hello, I'm a newbie but have been registered for a little while now, reading members posts via the app. I've put weight on over the years and I'm now at my heaviest and I hate it. The reason why - a bad back for many years culminating in spinal surgery last Christmas. I've got a fantastic physio

My Current Situation
This time I see a doctor after screaming for hours, X-rays reveal damage, and the surgeon later says it's the "worst of this type of injury (he's) ever seen". 2000: Diagnosed with scoliosis and told it's moving fast. 2002:
Spinal
fusion
to correct scoliosis. 12 vertebrae are fused together and supported
