Spinal cord stimulator experiences
Hi folks, I am 37 years old and slipped on ice last year, twisted back and my injury was made far worse following physio intervention in which I was asked to lift 5kg weight repetively as quick as I could in a minute. I had an instant flare up resulting in numbness lower back, groin, lower legs ext

Spinal cord stimulator
I was recently recommended for a spinal cord stimulator (SCS) implant, as I have failed all conservative pain management attempts (both pharmacological and non-pharmacological) for neuropathic pain. I found out earlier this week that I was approved for a four day trial, which is scheduled for 6/25/18

Anyone within 250 mi of Oakland with the thing that rhymes with Rogaine, but starts with Ibo?
I think this is ok to ask about here. I read the guidelines and saw nothing to lead me to believe this post would be a violation. I want to try Ibogaine, but will be traveling this summer (and leaving in two weeks) so am not sure how I’ll receive my order, but I can figure that out later. In the mean

Tropical Monsoons and Stares
Sadly, I got off to rather a false start due to the fact it has rained non-stop for the last couple of weeks. Not light drizzle, but huge South China monsoon rain. I restarted C25K this morning in the park. I have NEVER felt so self conscious before as many of the thousands of Chinese people in the

Chiropractor for sciatica?
Dear All, Last Christmas my husband strained his back and it has not got better despite ongoing physiotherapy. We don't know if he has "slipped" a disk as the doctors' view is that he should continue with physio and pain control (which has not so far been very effective). A lot of friends have recommended

Tasigna (Nilotinib) as a treatment/cure for SCA?
Hi, I am wondering if anyone has tried Tasigna (Nilotinib - FDA-approved treatment for cancer of the white blood cells) as a treatment/cure for cerebellar ataxia. There has been a recent study by renowned researchers in South Korea: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/28601294 Some people in Korea

Gaucher Disease
Does anyone on here have Gaucher Disease? There seems to be a link between that, Parkinsons, and being an ashkenazi Jew. I'm trying to get more information about this. Thanks. Symptoms and timing of getting one then the other or simultaneous diagnosis.
