Saw cat scan of lungs for the first time, but not sure how to interpret them.
Yesterday, I saw my chest cat scan for the first time. I was at a consultation with a neurosurgeon regarding a spinal cord stimulator. My rheumatologist told me I had only some minor scarring in the bottom of my lungs when he cut my prednisone from 10 MG to 5 MG, but the cat scan did not look like minor

Piriformis Syndrome
Hi everyone I was diagnosed with PMR in March 2020, started on 15 mg. Reduced by 1mg each month, had to return to 10 mg in January 2021. Decreasing slowly and now down to 8.5mg. Towards the end of January Piriformis pain came back, I’d experienced the same thing in October 2020. Have been doing

On the edge with too many decisions
Long story, some venting, need input. Some of you have followed my story of my major car accident last March. It was the other driver’s fault, but I was really hurt. So, on top of COVID-19, I was hospitalized alone, had no job, and spent 9 moths in physical therapy only to have them tell me they have

Myasthenia and Lupus?
Has anyone on here with double vision gone on to be investigated for, or diagnosed with, myasthenia gravis? I've had a Lupus diagnosis for 20 years with double vision occurring occasionally with the flares, lasting a few weeks. However I've had horizontal and vertical double vision for the last 6 months

Has anyone taken Vinpocetine with Rasagiline and Amantadine?
If you have taken this combination please let me know. I want to add Vinpocetine to my daily supplements but I’m concerned about any interactions with Amantadine and Rasagiline. Thank you my enlightened friends.

A glimmer of hope…
I’ve been on the IC for over 18 months now, I see a few familiar names that I remember from when I was here last. I SO miss running, not only for the physical benefits but for the mental health benefits too. I’ve been out due to osteoarthritis in my foot, I’ve got to the stage where I can’t even walk

Key Difference – Thiamine Mononitrate vs Thiamine Hydrochloride
Both Thiamine Mononitrate and Thiamine Hydrochloride are sources of Thiamine (vitamin B1). Thiamine mononitrate is prepared from Thiamine hydrochloride by removing chloride ion and mixing the final product with a nitric acid. This is the key difference between Thiamine mononitrate and Thiamine hydrochloride

Should I send my Y11 daughter back to school?
I am getting really anxious about my daughter returning to school on 11 January (in a year group of c240 kids). My husband was diagnosed with Cirrhosis last June and has had HE, ascites and varices. He's doing much better but is obviously very vulnerable to Covid. I had pneumonia ten years ago and our

Perhaps raising the head of our bed a few inches. From Ian Fritzell's (a PWP) vlog last week. Who knows?? A mixed bag.
I have not tried this myself, so I do not vouch for it, but I find Ian to be a reliable, objective source and a good guy, so I'll try it tonight. Vlog #154 My Progress With Glycine, Thiamine, nocturia and Inclined Bed Therapy 4 min VLOG https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJX318q7ang 5 min https://www.youtube.com

Vasectomy complications with AMN?
Hello all, My wife and I just had our second child a month ago. We both agree we only want two children, so I have been planning to get a vasectomy to avoid future pregnancies. Today I met with a vasectomy specialist, and during our consultation, we had a long conversation about concerns with AMN. Because

Very informative discussion with cardiologist
The only option to get me back in NSR is a cardioversion (not a good option for me because of my
spinal
fusion
). So going to A&E only useful if I am having extreme symptoms.
