Spinal Fusion-break Identified while being on the Lung Transplant List.
I have recently had another bone density scan and it showed up a small
spinal
fusion
-break? Has anyone else been taken off the lung transplant list because of this type of fracture?

New here and need input from others with similar problems
Hi, my best doctors tell me spinal surgery will not help my back problems. I have dried out disc and significant osteoarthritis along with some spondolothesis. My treatment to date includes a Nevro spinal stimulator, 200 mg daily of Celebrex, and 50 mg 3x of pregabalin. I am encouraged to take deluxatine

Has anyone had ACDF/Discectomy & Spinal Fusion Surgery?
Has anyone had this surgery? I’m a potential candidate for this is have large herniated discs in C5-6 & C7-8. My Neurosurgeon said that first option would be a nerve block of pain wasn’t improving (it isn’t) but I feel this would only help pain and wouldn’t sort out the problem itself. I’m a 30 year

Hi everyone, I'm a night owl I'm afraid! So here I am lying awake as usual worrying about my weight. Is there anyone out there doing the same? I'm thinking of starting a BIG diet next Monday. That is - a very low calorie diet - 800 cals per day. I did do this before and managed to stick to it. I lost

Hi I'm thinking of having spinal cord stimulation can anyone who has had it tell me your experience?
Hi I've been suffering with lower back problems & sever pain for years and it's making my life a misery. All the painkillers I'm on are not helping anymore. I've had 2 set of spinal injections and epdurals, the last lot was last year November since then my pain is even worst. I'm in absolute agony everyday

Hello. New to the forum but not to OA. Thought I’d say hello and add my story.
I posted this in another thread so I apologize if you have read it already. I did not pay attention to the length of time since the last comment so that post is buried toward the bottom. I enjoy research so I hope to add some articles or links to help all of us in our daily and sometimes hourly battle

TLIF spinal fusion surgery
I have been advsied that I need a TLIF surgery on L5 S1 with
spinal
fusion
, which he has said is urgent, but said when I saw him in May that he wanted to delay this for up to 6 months due to the risks of Covid (I also have COPD), as well as surgery on c5 c6 for neck problems.

Saw cat scan of lungs for the first time, but not sure how to interpret them.
Yesterday, I saw my chest cat scan for the first time. I was at a consultation with a neurosurgeon regarding a spinal cord stimulator. My rheumatologist told me I had only some minor scarring in the bottom of my lungs when he cut my prednisone from 10 MG to 5 MG, but the cat scan did not look like minor

Piriformis Syndrome
Hi everyone I was diagnosed with PMR in March 2020, started on 15 mg. Reduced by 1mg each month, had to return to 10 mg in January 2021. Decreasing slowly and now down to 8.5mg. Towards the end of January Piriformis pain came back, I’d experienced the same thing in October 2020. Have been doing

On the edge with too many decisions
Long story, some venting, need input. Some of you have followed my story of my major car accident last March. It was the other driver’s fault, but I was really hurt. So, on top of COVID-19, I was hospitalized alone, had no job, and spent 9 moths in physical therapy only to have them tell me they have

Myasthenia and Lupus?
Has anyone on here with double vision gone on to be investigated for, or diagnosed with, myasthenia gravis? I've had a Lupus diagnosis for 20 years with double vision occurring occasionally with the flares, lasting a few weeks. However I've had horizontal and vertical double vision for the last 6 months

Has anyone taken Vinpocetine with Rasagiline and Amantadine?
If you have taken this combination please let me know. I want to add Vinpocetine to my daily supplements but I’m concerned about any interactions with Amantadine and Rasagiline. Thank you my enlightened friends.
