LCHF, Keto... Intermittent Fasting seem to do some of us good - BUT, what about our immune system?
A lowered immune system can afflict many of us with hypothyroidism, adrenal issues, CFS/ME... stuff that many of us have accumulated over the years. Adrenal cortisol & DHEA results
I recently did another saliva test to see if my cortisol/DHEA is affecting my insomnia. I feel so much better during the day, since starting Low dose Naltrexone (LDN), but would like to fix my chronic insomnia. My cortisol levels seem to have decreased slightly since my last text approx 19 months ago

Hi guys and gals, back again. Currently on day three 50mg Pred. I’ve notice that the pain in my temple is almost gone when I wake up but by about 1 or 2pm it’s starts to return. Not bad just the usual tender throb. I take my Pred about 7am. Not sure how long it takes for symptoms to fully disappear

What's Happening???
So, I'm a bit confused. Had been on a good program with steady loss of about 1.5 lbs per week. Down about 17 lbs - traveled for about 6 weeks and maintained pretty well maybe up about a lb. I returned home last week and immediately went back to original program - LCHF. I might not have been perfect

Low carb with fat eating plan for healthy liver ??
I am trying to reduce my NAFLD and cholesterol. There is conflicting advice as to whether a low carb diet with fat is healthy or not. Are there any forum members who have achieved a reduction in liver fat by following a low carb diet with fat ? Just not sure which diet to follow for the best.

OK, after reading a article on this site and spending yesterday researching low carb. I have decided to go for it. Il make mistakes im sure but Ill do my best. downloaded carb manager onto my phone to help me. Its looks a good app. You can scan bar codes with it....a bit like MFP. I have set it at 50

Non alcoholic fatty liver and safe diet
I am going to try a low carb diet and recipes I have researched have fat in them such as cream, cheese and coconut milk. I have stopped rubbish carbs and sugar. Insulin Resistance:
Current HOMA-IR = (Glucose x Insulin) / 405 = 111 X 9.9/405= 2.713 Historical values: a) Aug 2019: 114 X 11.9/405 = 3.34 b) Feb 2019: 111
