Low Dose Naltrexone for ADHD?
I am just wondering if anyone here is familiar with or has possibly tried low dose naltrexone and if it helped to relieve their ADHD? I recently read a patient interview where a woman found it very effective and I've heard from several other people that they were also prescribed it. (https://www.ldnscience.org

Don’t know ifI have asked this question but how do you get round increased heart rate after using inhalers. I was told by nurse to use it everyday as my peak flow had gone down. Used it for two weeks but it’s unnerving when heart rate jumps up and takes time to go back down. I believe they can cause

NDT to T3
Hello I need some guidance with changing from NDT ERFA Thyroid 135mg to T3 Uni-pharma. I stopped NDT and took 12.5 T3 in the morning for two days now. I was wondering if it's too low of a dose since I was taking 135 mg NDT. I am self medicating since I asked my doctor and she gave me only 5mcg of

Alternative therapies: what I've learned
I've been on the PMR journey since 2014, and the pred episode since 2015. In that time I've also had an osteoporosis scare. Those interested in what I did about that can read https://healthunlocked.com/pmrgcauk/posts/137578304/my-osteoporosis-journey - a bit dated now, but successful anyway.... When

Any advice welcome
I’ve been diagnosed with adult onset asthma a four years ago. I’m 54. Diagnosed after a respiratory tract infection- no spiromtry or other tests I’ve read about on here. For the first couple of years I didn’t have symptoms most of the time- only when I had a cold. I could go without Clenil or Ventolin

Irbesartan side effects.
My husband eliminated indigestion by following a low carb diet. Recently indigestion has returned, and it more or less coincided with changing to Irbesartan. Has anyone else noticed this?

Change in Peak Flow Readings
I take my peak flow readings 3 times a day and record the best of the 3 blows. The reading first thing in the morning is always the lowest which I believe is expected however has dropped progressively from 560 to 495. My peak reading for the day as also dropped slightly from an average of 600 to 575.

Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) for Depression?
Has anyone here ever tried Low Dose Naltrexone (or LDN)? Low Dose Naltrexone refers to dosages ranging from approximately .5mg-5mg According to my research, some forms of depression are caused by endorphin deficiencies in the body. LDN dramatically increases endorphin levels which can be a life-changer

Overcoming ADD without Meds
Has anyone tried to overcome their ADD without meds, antidepressants and choose to reduce symptoms with a low-carb diet (no preservatives/sugar/junk food etc.) combined with regular exercise, meditation & positive affirmations etc. I know this is not possible for everyone to improve their ADD symptoms

Inhalers to be reduced!!!
Just returned from Annual asthma review- slightly confused.!! I am an Elite Master competitive swimmer 59 yrs and clock some 36km per week. I've been informed that my usage of Salamol and Clenil apparently are being looked at. !!! My explanation regarding the necessity to use them prior to training

Quiche
This was what I had tonight. I also had asparagus and a Greek yogurt on the side. The crust was made with yellow rice and two different types of cheese and fake bacon pieces mixed in. Very good and low carb high protein. There are leftovers for another dinner.😀👍
