Hi. Did anyone have Hyperplasia ruled out first before Endometriosis was diagnosed? Or the suggestion it was Hyperplasia before Endometriosis?

Meds after BFP
So I’m currently 8 weeks now and fast running out of my meds. I’m on progynova 4 a day, Cyclogest 2 a day and prontogest every 3 days. What I’m unsure about is when to stop taking them? I have enough prontogest to last til January.... Cyclogest to last me for the next 3 weeks and progynova to take me

Mastectomy distress
Had my mastectomy last week and I’m having the dressing and last drain out tomorrow. When I went for the first check up Monday, I got very upset and couldn’t look at the scar and asked for it to be recovered until tomorrow, I thought it would be fine and I’d not care about losing the breast if the cancer

Total Gastrectomy check up.
Yesterday I attended an appointment at the hospital some four hours journey from home with the surgeon that performed a Total Gastrectomy on me a little over nine years ago. The appointment was at his request and I had not seen him over the pat fours years. Now he wishes to see me on a yearly basis.

Anyone out there with recurrent non-metastatic breast cancer?
Hi everyone, I'm new here and I hope you can help me. I was first diagnosed in 2009 with stage 2 IDC(invasive ductal carcinoma) in my right breast. Had a lumpectomy, chemo (ACT) and 6 weeks of radiation. In March 2013, I found another lump in the same breast. Had a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction

Nerve pain legs & feet
Hello, I’ve tried Gabapentin and wasn’t able to tolerate it. Currently I’m on 10 mg of amitriptyline, but doesn’t do much but give me a good night’s sleep (20 mg leaves me groggy all day) I’ve searched this site for posts but can’t find the one about suggestions for brands of creams I can try to relieve

Sleep aid that seems to be working
Like a lot of us with a head injury, I suffer from sleep problems. I doze off intermittently at random times during the day and then at night time. I only have a few hours sleep. Over the years, I have tried all the usual advice - no drinks late at night, reduce "screen" time, dark room, cold room,

Sleep apnea?
So it seems like when a person thinks they have RLS and goes to doctor to rule in or out, that they are told to have a sleep study...I guess saying that sleep apnea could be the reason for RLS. I was told the same thing recently but haven't had the sleep study yet. My question is: For those who have

Surgery one done
My husband had his gastrectomy last Thursday and came home yesterday, I’m so proud of him for how well he’s doing. My mastectomy is scheduled for next Thursday and I’m getting nervous about the surgery and leaving the family with my husband still recuperating, but can’t wait for us both to be cancer

One year wait for reconstruction?
Hi, I am sure there must be a few of you out there that can answer my question:- "Why is it that some ladies can have a reconstruction at the same time as mastectomy, yet some of us have to wait a year?" Is there something that I am just not getting or being told? Take care all x

Hoping for the best.
Just three years ago, I had small stage 1 cancer followed by lumpectomy and radiation. All was done so it would not return. About six months ago, it was back and crazy. I'm now taking Ibrance and Anastrozole. It has been difficult, but fortunately, I'm tolerating the medication quite well. Now the

Great news and busy times
Sorry it has been a while since I posted but lots has been happening. On May 30 I had a bilateral mastectomy. July 8 I had to go back in because the right tissue expander had staph infection. On August 2 teachers started back to work in classrooms and kids started the 12. On Aug. 17 I got the results

Question. Has anyone with PCS or other BI been diagnosed with Narcolepsy.
Hi I have brought up the subject of having 'fantastical imagery' with my psychologist at the brain injury unit and just get a wide eyed stare in return, it seems to say she is suggesting 'don't go there'. I have wondered about this and have read that similar experiences (mad visions) come under neuro-psychosis

Dbl Mastectomy
I had my double mastectomy Wed, the 4th and came home the 5th. Minimal pain, and not much drainage. Has my 1st dressing change on Friday and it doesn't look bad at all. I thought I'd react badly to it; cry, scream, yell, get angry or be mortified but I never felt any of that, instead I felt "hey, that
