Will I lose my hair again

Good morning everyone I have triple negative breast cancer had chemo first to shrink the tumor’s didn’t work had double bilateral mastectomy after 3 weeks of surgery cancer spread to the Breast tissue. I am almost done with radiation, now the oncologist wants me to do more chemo ( Atezolizumab ) my question is will I lose my hair again?

Hi Givemestrength - I did some searching and actually found it difficult to nail down an answer (perhaps this is why you posted...). This sounds like a different category of drug (it's some sort of antibody?) and in one place I looked hair loss was listed as an uncommon side effect. So maybe not?

I've not heard of this treatment so am actually curious about it....My sister has triple negative MBC. She currently has no treatment, aside from periodically (about every 18 months) surgically removing tumors that crop up...I'll mention that she is doing extraordinarily well, and the main lifestyle factor we can point to is about 10 hours / week of very slow "running". Plus a pescatarian diet...
