Mastectomy and latissimus dorsi flap reconstruction
Hi everyone, hope you are having a good day today, considering everything! On 18th September, I had a single left-side mastectomy and latissimus dorsal flap reconstruction, with a small implant inserted too. I am recovering well, and feel amazingly normal already, despite a pulling in my left arm,

Had a bad dream. :(
Hi, everyone! How are you? Happy Friday 💜 Coming with another problem that's causing me anxiety to not sleep. I took a nap in the afternoon and had a bad dream that I was having a seizure. It wasn't real cause I was in a different setting but woke up and start to catch my breath. I'm so sorry if I

Phantosmia?
Has anyone experienced an olfactory hallucination? Can MS cause this? I’ve never heard of this being associated with MS, but I do wonder, since MS has some bizarre symptoms.

Hi all, I'm new to this forum but have had restless legs for over 30 years. I've never seen my doctor about it because I try to keep off drugs. For the past 5 years or so I have been using spatone iron and that has generally kept it at bay. That is until i went on omeprazole. At first I was ok but

In my belief this is what caused my RLS!
For many years I was taking codeine for pain. After I got hooked on it the codeine took over my body. I finally got off them about 2 years ago and ever since I have gained RLS. I sleep maybe an hour a night if I'm lucky. I don't really have triggers they ache every night. I started smoking pot before

Considering obstructive sleep apnoea and enlarged tonsils as a cause of fatigue
So, today I saw a respiratory doctor at the request of my CLL team. Due to my terrible snoring (sorry wifey!) and what he states are very enlarged tonsils the doctor thinks I may have OSA (says they almost meet). He’s referred me also for a possible tonsillectomy. So this could fall into the “don’t

anyone taking Nevirapine/Viramune at the same time as doing taxotere chemotherapy.
my doctor said that doing this combination (although I'm only 60 and athletic and have great bone density) would require me to do the Neulasta with each treatment to help my white cells from dropping. The Neulasta is a killer ....horrible bone pain... and I'm just wondering if anyone else was on the
