Looking for support 3 weeks post ablation
I’m 44 and had an ablation with top surgeon in hopes of getting ahead of afib. Prior to ablation I got it about once per month sometimes more. Post surgery was put on flec and metropolol and am already on cymbalta. Seems everyone missed that cymbalta is contradicted with these drugs- and raises the strength

Relapsing Polychondritis
I’m just wondering if any others with thyroid problems also suffer with relapsing polychondritis? I’m looking for advice on how others cope with the exhaustion caused by the combination of the usual thryroid symptoms and a polychondritis flare up. Thanks

Tamiflu = tummy phoo
Omg! I can’t figure out whether it’s the Tamiflu or the z pak or having to take both and believe me I’m grateful for both given how sick I was - BUT it’s destroying my stomach. I still have 5 days left to take - any suggestions to settle things down?

My new life
Hi all. I was diagnosed with MS in November of 2017. The fatigue was hard but Nuvigil has helped. My emotions go crazy...which sucks. Looking forward to meeting ya’all and learning.

Living with MS
I was diagnosed with Ms in 2012. I was on the Medication Rebif and had to change because it was not working for me. Now I'm on Gilenya and it seems to be working for me. My neurologist put me on Ampyra to help with my walking also. It seems that the Ampyra assistance program was terminated Dec.

Rasagiline, azlect
I was diagnosed about a year ago and would like to stay off Meds as long as possible. But I am taking rasagiline as my dr says it protects my dopamine. Any opinions about that? I’m also taking SAMe for ease in joints and some macuna powder in my breakfast foods. Thanks, janet

What time to take Amitriptyline?
Hi all. From the start of taking Ami, I was told to take the dose an hour before bed, it would help me sleep. I can report that currently up to 40mg, it is not doing much for the headaches and has NO sleepy effect on me, in-fact I often can't sleep. I am thinking it would be more beneficial to spread

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for RLS?
Hi everyone, Has anyone tried “TMS” (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation)? There have been several promising studies. This one was only on 14 participants but it looks like it could be worthwhile exploring: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/26112711/ Another study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed

Sleep Apnea and Arrhthmia
I was recently diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and now am attempting to get used to a CPAP machine. As noted previously, I have had two ablations and have had no AFIB events in 16 months since the last ablation. However, I continue to get ongoing and disruptive PACs which are now only

What he say?
One thing we all share as PWP is a hunger for anything new that will help us cope. Another thing we share is an impatience in expressing our thoughts. Finally, we can’t type worth a damn! Please consider all this when you post. The info is appreciated only if understandable. Thanks, y’’all.

Duloxetine and extreme tiredness
I've been taking Duloxetine for two weeks now. One 30mg a night (due to go up to two a night for two weeks then three a night for two weeks!) and I don't know if it is the drug or just my fibromyalgia in general but I've been SO thoroughly exhausted lately. Today was extreme. I could not move. I've been

Hello. I'm new to the group. I'm a middle-aged male and I'm here to find out everything I can about Anxiety-related conditions, Selective Mutism in particular. My niece has been diagnosed with it. My sister and I suspect that we might have had it as kids.

Question
Did any of you have any sleep problems before being diagnosed with AFib? I have had insomnia for years and was told on Dec. 28,2017 that I have AFib. So was curious if it is related. I am planning on asking my Cardiologist when I see him this Wednesday.
