Ritalin + Modafinil?
I've been,"Gone" for awhile but I'm back. I've been dealing with the horrid "Cog Fog." I went to a Neuropsychologist for testing last week (base line test) and I did horribly, was so exhausted after. Making my brain work out like that was EXHAUSTING! I won't get the results for a month, but I know

New to ms the first week of many weeks
New to Relapsing Remitting ms (RRms) its first week month decade. Everything is a learning experience. Mistakes will be made, I most certainly made mine. People will give “YOU” suggestions and make recommendations. They may appear reasonable but, this is an incurable progressive chronic condition

Music Therapy :) Yes, it's Works!
Ever since I was a child, I loved music. Now the downside to this short story is my mom and dad (God bless them ran out purchased an organ made me play it...violin blah blah blah. Today, I still love my choir just had to take a break because of the MS migraines, but MS can't control and snatch everything

Shall I buy a car? AKA how long have I got doc?
Slightly tongue in cheek title but basically a genuine question... I’m 58. I first noticed clear symptoms (as opposed to those you realise with hindsight might have been earlier indicators) in 1/2015. Officially dx a year later 1/16 and started on 1mg pd of Rasagiline Then 15 months later (5/17) started

Restless legs keeps coming back
My mum has suffered from rls since about 8 years, she's been on many medications and all will work for a while. Recently she was diagnosed with sleep apnea and was using cpap which made all her rls symptoms go away however after 2 months it has returned really bad. I took her to the gp and he has prescribed

A BIT OF A WARNING ON USING MEDICAL MARIJUANA (MM) AS A SLEEP AID AND THE USE OF MELATONIN 123 AS ANOTHER OPTION FOR SLEEP PLUS TWO OTHERS
In a previous reply to a thread about using MM as a sleep aid, I mentioned that although I did not think it was addictive, I felt that it could easily become a regular part of your going to sleep routine and in that sense, possibly habit forming, so I suggested mixing it up with the "melatonin 123" method

Neuro appointment today
Saw my neuro today. He said I’m doing fantastic and called me boring 😂 I really am blessed to be doing so well. Ampyra has been my miracle drug and Rebif continues to work well. I am going to try a sleeping pill. Bad sleep and increased fatigue were my only complaints today. On a side note...my tomatoes

Progress and a bit of fun
I wrote a silly ditty for someone on her quite a while back. Am posting it here now so I can delete from my iPad as iCloud alarmingly getting full and I don't want to pay 70pence - I know - I am that old miser. I am currently on 6 and 5.5 alternate. Slight delay to latest reduction as I fell hard on

Promising results for a GLP-1 receptor agonist. Exenatide group of PwP showed improved motor function in a randomised, double-blind trial.
I first read about GLP-1 receptor agonists recently. They are diabetes drugs. However, I immediately thought that they would be a great thing to try for Parkinson's. Why? Because GLP 1 receptor agonists can lower inflammation, calm microglial cells, and reduce programmed cell death. Well, it turned

Update: AR-V7 & peeing problems
A couple of months ago my husband tested positive for AR-V7, today's result came back 'no detection found'...we're excited about that news! I had posted earlier about the peeing problems, not feeling like he could empty and not being able to go at all for a day or so just a couple of weeks ago. When
