Ritalin + Modafinil?

I've been,"Gone" for awhile but I'm back. I've been dealing with the horrid "Cog Fog." I went to a Neuropsychologist for testing last week (base line test) and I did horribly, was so exhausted after. Making my brain work out like that was EXHAUSTING! I won't get the results for a month, but I know I did poorly.

Yesterday I took bother Ritalin (10mg) and Modafinil (200mg) and the fog lifted!

This was my idea, not Dr. Sanctioned, but I'm trying this combo again today to see if yesterday was real and not just a one off. So far so good, but if anyone has any info or advice - pass it along.

Thanks for reading and hope everyone is well.

Welcome Back! I don't have Ritalin, but I couldn't get through a day without my Modafinil 200 MG one mid-morning & one mid-afternoon. Be careful mixing those meds.

Modafinil never did anything for me, but when combined with Ritalin it works..

That's good. Be sure to check your blood pressure. Mine jumped up quite a bit. We all have to do what works best for ourselves. It's amazing what our bodies can tolerate with these meds circulating in our systems.😊

Yes, I'm wondering as this combo works on relieving the sluggishness of my brain function if now my brain can work on other issues.

And I will make sure to check my BP, thanks for the suggestion.

We all kind of need to take care of each other😊

I was told by my Neuropsyche that Ritalin is helpful with mental cognition and remembering things. I'm not on it (yet).

Well it definely helps me focus on stuff, but my memory itself is not great. BUT being able to just think clearly is WONDERFUL!
