Progynova 2WW and period??

Hi all i need some advice about progynova

We had Frozen embryo transfer Monday 22nd and due to test Monday coming.

I take 4 x 2mg progynova each day as well as 2 cyclogest.

My question is does progynova stop your period coming?

If following my usual cycle my period should have arrived 3 days ago but no sign. I have had some cramping and pains but no other signs. This is our first FET and 2WW so not sure exactly what to expect.

I dont want to get my hopes up and part of me is already thinking it hasnt worked. The 2ww is much worse than what I was expecting.

Hi. For most people the cyclogest stops your lining breaking down so would delay your period. I'm afraid there really is no way to know whether or not it has worked until test day, but you're nearly there. Hang in there, and good luck x

I had Progynova 6mg daily from 3 weeks before transfer to week 12 of pregnancy. According to my consultant it increases the uterus lining whilst the Progesterone supports the pregnancy (in place of the ovaries that would usually produce this in a ‘normal’ pregnancy). You can have some breakthrough bleeding on it and I had spotting in the 2ww but still tested positive. 🤞 for a positive test for you xx

I have the same protocol as you. I agree with baypony. From my experience when my transfer fails I often start spotting etc. before the 2ww is over although I can't say that this is standard. I'm currently 9w tomorrow so good luck for test day! Hope you get your BFP!!

There is something in that feeling of positivity! I track everything after transfer. How I'm feeling, any symptoms etc. 5 & 6dp5dt I reported unidentifiable positivity!! My last transfer failed to implant and I knew from about 3dp. Trust your instincts! Hope you get your BFP!!
