It's good that you're doing well - and "boring" is way better than "interesting" and it sure beats "challenging" by a million miles! However note that fatigue can be a side-effect of Rebif - it was one of my worst side-effects from it (the other really bad one was serious depression). Both my fatigue and depression improved dramatically within ten days of stopping Rebif. Starting sleeping tablets can lead you down a very slippery slope where you become very dependent on them, and you should really only take them for maybe 2 to 4 days at the most when you have absolutely no other choice.
What are you feeding those tomatoes - super-charged horse poo or ???
That's great news StacyHayward Never seen tomatoes that tall before! Hope you get a lot of tomatoes (or maders as we call them for my dog lol) Hope you are able to get some sleep soon. Keep us updated on how things go.
Great news about your neuro visit.๐ It's great to be boring sometimes! I'm jealous of those tomato plants! I didn't even try this year with all the rain we had.
Huge walking difference. I was having significant trouble getting signals to my legs after sitting or standing for very long. When Iโd try to walk, I had to hold on to something. Sometimes my left leg could barely respond. And I couldnโt immediately stand after sitting. I had to wait for my legs to get functioning or Iโd collapse.
Everyone watching me walk thought I was in agony because it looked so awful. But there wasnโt pain. Legs just didnโt work.
After ampyra I am nearly back to a normal walking gait. Iโd say about 95%. I occasionally have a bad day or moment but itโs usually tied to late nights or fatigue.
Walking better has directly help lessen fatigue too, since my legs donโt feel like 50 pounds anymore and Iโm not working so hard to walk and not fall.
I honestly believe Iโd be using a walker or wheelchair full time if I wasnโt taking ampyra. My legs were getting that bad.
I know itโs not this dramatic of a help for everyone. My neuro says for some itโs a home run and others a strike out. For me, gratefully, itโs been a grand slam!
