Beauty treatments
How many of you lovely ladies would Prefer Pure Homemade Beauty treatments e.g face masks, body moisturizers, sugar lip scrubs, facial care, Skin care, Spritz sprays, Feet scrubs... than going to boots and buying a brand known? Please write back to me this is just a survey for all the lovely ladies

Tertiary Hypothyroidism
You hear a lot about Primary and even Secondary hypothyroidism but very little about Tertiary hypothyroidism. Has anyone on here been diagnosed with it or had any Hypothalamic Dysfunction recognised?

Modafinil/Provigil tablet to improve cognitive/memory enhancer
Hi all I was surfing the web last night looking for something to do with brain injury and I came across the above drug, which reports to be a memory enhancer and stops feeling sleepy. The generic name is Modafinil, pharmaceutical name Provigil. It states this is for narcolepsy and shift worker disorders

I saw a Cardiologist this week. Seems I may have a complication due to another complication of PSP. I'd appreciate feedback.
For those who've been following my posts, some of this is old info; for the benefit of newer caretakers/persons with PSP, I'm going to briefly refer to the complication of PSP I was diagnosed with May of 2013. My Doc (a Neuro) surprised me with a referral for a sleep study. Sleep apnea was the furthest

3rd opinion
I went to Davis for my 3rd opinion and he wants more data. Then wants to see me in about a month again. For some reason, my glands are NOT nearly as big as they were in June. (can stress make then HUGE? Because they were really big in June and that's really the only difference between June & July

Hello there everyone, I thought I'd give an update about my misdiagnosis project. Since I discovered that I have a pituitary disorder in addition to my Behçet’s I have been in touch with a lady called Jill Mizen. Jill recently got a really good article published in the Daily Mail about the misdiagnosis

Circadin as sleep aid
Someone recommended Circadin to me as a sleep aid, but I did some digging around and have found information that says: "Not to be used in people with autoimmune diseases such as systematic lupus erythematosus". I have Hashimoto's. I showed this info to my GP who is quite open minded and she was

Ablation. Perth. Western Australia.
Hi everyone. How would I go about getting a second opinion for an ablation. Has anyone had one done in Perth Western Australia. I don't mind flying to Sydney for better treatment. Is there a way to find someone who is knowledgable and very experienced that can alleviate my fears about the procedure

Does amitriptyline cause augmentaion?
A few posters in a pervious thread of mine said that amitriptyline can make RLS much worse but not augmentation? What does this mean? It sounds like a bit of a contradiction? I got some amitriptyline in its lowest dose, for sleep aid. I used it before and it worked but left me like a zombie the next

I have fibro and one of the more pleasant effects are sleep problems. Has anyone been given Zopiclone sleeping tablets 3.75mg.
Any comments would be very welcome, as the Fibro is really getting boring now. Has anyone found a way of copping with the lack of sleep and not want to yell at everyone the following day, when you are still in loads of pain. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Anyone have trouble breathing deeply?
Trouble breathing last night, all night up and waking up snorting like I had sleep apnea. Never had this problem before or snoring going on my entire life. Is this symptomatic of lupus? Awful..there is a sleep center near me, should I go and get tested. I was still having trouble breathing in morning

Has anyone experience problems after a presacral neurectomy to treat their endometriosis need advice ?
I am concerned about the chances of it not working and also causing complications such as chronic urination and constipation. Is it a risk worth taking or will be attached to a toilet for rest of my life ?
