Running World Cup Tournament is almost here!

Just a quick note to say that the Running World Cup is nearly here! I happened to glance at it today and saw it’ll start next week! Folkylass and I are the admins of the team, the app is a bit clunky, but it’s fun when different countries get to compete with each other.

England came fifth and fourth the last two years, but we never made it to the top three! Maybe this year?

Any person from any country can join us, and we have a HU TEAM 20XX League Table, but your contributions will count to your chosen countries total.

It has an inbuilt tracker, best used with Apple Health or equivalent on Android. The invite to our Health Unlocked Running Team is here:

My fitness app seems to have stopped syncing my activity to the RWC app since the beginning of September 🤷🏻‍♀️ Any suggestions how to fix? I’ve tried rebooting both my phone and watch but no change. It’s the Apple fitness app and it has been very glitchy since the beginning of September

Huh!

I’ll have to look if it will log mine tomorrow. I haven’t checked for a couple of weeks. But I’d suggest what might help us:

- turn off apple fitness linkage in RWC , close app. Open app with turned off linkage. Then click on linkage again. See if this might do the trick.

There is a manual entry if worse comes to worse

Will see what mine dies tomorrow to see if it tracks on Apple fitness.

That’s wiped all my activity 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ll try deleting the app and reinstalling it later if nothing syncs in the meantime. I’ll sync Strava too - belt and braces!

Bummer!!! Of course there is always manual entry, but it’s much easier if it adds the runs automatically.

I found it wasn't syncing with strava , really frustrating. I think I gave up in the end.

Yeah, I found only Apple health worked for me. Sorry about it. It has been a bit flaky over the years.

🤦🏻‍♀️ Strava was my back up plan. I think it’s my phone. The RWC app has always worked beautifully until now. My September activity challenge didn’t arrive until about the 5th Sept and keeps disappearing 🤷🏻‍♀️ I think it the latest Apple update causing the issue. It’s a pain!
