I’ve just started the NRC 10k plan. I use my Apple Watch whilst running which is fine but although it is recording the runs on the Activity section on the iPhone app the Plan doesn’t recognise I’ve completed any runs let alone the first week?
Now, I can keep track by memory and manually move through the weeks but I wondered if I’m missing anything or if anyone is having the same issues?
many thanks ☺️
Ps My watch actually does show progress along a bar at the bottom of the screen!

I know, since my post it seems to recognise my progress this week (week 2) but didn’t save last week. Hopefully on track now. I did uninstall the app and reinstall so maybe that’s what helped?
I've tried the NRC app twice now and both occasions have been spectacular failures.. I run with the Apple Watch only, so I'd select a run and make sure it was downloaded (ready for offline use) on the watch. Then I'd get to my run only to find I couldn't select the run without my phone or in the first case it just started executing an open form run instead (of the intervals desired).
Are you guys running with your phone on you or have you had better luck with watch only operation?
I seem to be able to download a run on my watch with no need to have my phone with me. My previous issue seems to be better since I uninstalled the NRC app on my phone and reinstalled. Might be worth a try for you too?
I use my watch but take iPhone & start the run on my phone. I ran on our treadmill the other day due to the snow & it kept stopping. I realised because I had it on auto pause & for some reason it thought I was stopping. However I did get a tick on the app for the run.
I have noticed (I start starva alongside nrc) that Nike isn’t as accurate as Strava on the map, records it in straight lines & is less distance.
I’ve figured out why it doesn’t like the treadmill. When you go to download the run there’s a gear to the left. You hit that & can toggle between indoor /outdoor. So I’m happy, fingers crossed your gremlins are sorted now too. We’ll get there in the end 🤣🙏🏻
Nrc seems to be behaving again now. I take my phone in a belt and also record the run on my watch which is just a basic forerunner 235. I've found the nrc app a bit inclined to have glitches in the past but atm it's OK again.
