Really struggling with the fear that I'm going to have another fall while running
I had a nasty fall in May last year when I tripped on a gravel path while
running
. I messed my face up in a big way and damaged my shoulder. I've back
running
since the autumn and I'm pretty OK when I'm on the grass but when I'm
running
on a hard surface I get very nervous.

2023: W23R1 - running in the rain :-)
I'm glad, it was very nice. 7 degrees celsius today, but next time it's supposed to be freezing , so we'll see :-) Happy
running

Very little holiday running 😎
But I have done other stuff, just not
running
. So the weekend at home beckons, as do the
running
shoes and we'll have to see how it goes. Hopefully any lost fitness will return and the determination to get back into my stride, quite literally. Adios, and happy
running
from a hot and sunny Spain.

Week 6 done
I don't feel fitter while
running
, I feel the same, still out of breath, still tired and still shattered, but if your here with me now, your
running
for longer than you were and your only getting better.

Advice please - pain along bottom of feet when running
I suffered quite badly with shin splints towards the end which put me off and I stopped
running
. Picked back up again this year and on week 4 now. Now I’m
running
longer I notice an unbearable pain spanning the bottom of my foot, on both feet!

HR Stats on Phone
I felt fine after my run, and once I stop
running
it takes about 30 seconds or so to get my breathing back to normal. Should I be worried by these stats ?? Thanks all for any advice !!

First steps back after nearly 4 months of being off with hip bursitis :(
It hasn't really been a good year
running
wise; covid and some other minor ailments then a sprained ankle. Just when I was thinking I could start and build up my
running
again I got hip bursitis at the end of July.

Running after Hip Replaced
I have been told that due to this my
running
days are over ( not that I was actually much of a runner…more a very slow jogger!) but I just wondered what other people’s experiences are?

10k next year
My question is will I still be able to improve my 5k time and endurance eventually getting to the 10k, by
running
on a treadmill and only once a week on a road (parkrun), while it's dark and horrible after work. Once the clocks go forward, I'll be back out road
running
3 times a week.
