Well it really was a hot day for a run. I was really glad that the 10k race set off before the HM.
I have been trying for ages, years even, to run 10k under the hour and yesterday I managed it. I was really pleased with my time of 58:08.
C25k got me running when I was approaching 60 and yesterday I was the fastest in the 70-74 age group at Bristol. Running over the last decade has brought me an amazing amount of enjoyment. Thank you everyone and I hope everyone continues to enjoy their runs ππββοΈππ»ββοΈ

Hi, I am on the right hiding behind sunglasses and a hat.
One of the others is my daughter who has got into running since I started. The rest are all youngsters, more my daughterβs age than mine, but they are very welcoming to this crazy older runner who keeps turning up.
π€£ππ€£I should have put my glasses on and realised that only one of the group looked to be in the 70-74 age group. You look so fit and healthy. How lovely to have encouraged your daughter to start running and now join together with her on a race day. Wonderful π
