Why we run…🎬🏃🏽🏃‍♀️🏃🏾‍♂️

I stumbled across these today - having posted the first one several years ago.

The first video is a 12 min charity-commissioned film about the transformative power of running. It ends with the poem, “I Run On” by Molly Case, which is also featured in the second short video from the Running Channel.

Thought there may be folk on here who will appreciate them?

Enjoy!🙂

Thank you for posting these! I haven't heard that poem and there are many of my running heroes in that first clip talking. How amazing are the stories of the homeless. In fact I find anyone's running story amazing and humbling. 🥰

Thank you SO much for this. Have only watched the first one so far, and am about to watch the second. The first brought tears to my eyes and then the poem let them fall. If I hadn't run for 52 minutes already today, I'd be out there now, running ...

This is exactly how I felt when I first watched it…actually it still does this to me!

And well done on that run today, too! 🙂👍

Absolutely love these! Thanks so much for sharing. My only complaint is they should come with a warning to have tissues ready in case you get emotional!! ❤️❤️❤️

I haven’t seen these before. The 1st one I will return to as there were no visuals but the 2nd one was lovely and brought tears to my eyes. What a beautiful poem and such lovely running routes too. I’m so glad I discovered running. 🏃‍♀️

I was probably in a bad WiFi spot but have seen it now. It is all so true. And the supportive community on here just proves how running can be for anyone. I wish I’d discovered it sooner!
