PMR after Flu Vaccination
I'm new here, just joining this week, I'm 70 years old. I developed PMR in 2020 after my first FLU vaccination in 44 years, I had the Swine FLU vaccination in 1976 which also made me very sick. Has anyone else experienced this? In 1976 very few virus strains, in 2020 multiple virus strains in the vaccination

Icy feeling in chest
Hi Everyone, I previously posted here when I was first given inhalers in 2020 to manage after-effects of COVID/pneumonia. I was on Flutiform 250mg x2 twice a day. They seemed to help a lot and eventually I stopped taking them just before Christmas. Recently I have noticed that when it is cold outside

Hope everyone is well
Hi all Hope you are all keeping safe and well, sorry I haven't been on for a long time. Mum, sister and I all had bronchitis but mum's turned to Pneumonia and we almost lost her. On a brighter note I thought that I would cheer everyone up and introduce you to my super cute puppy, Blossom Lucy.

So cold all the time
Does anyone else with Hashimotos/ Hypothyroidism here really struggle with the cold. I'm spending hours a day wrapped in a blanket, and that is over the top of several layers/thick jumper, and I am still cold! I hate it so much. I am so hopeful that Spring is on the way, I feel so much better with the

Daffodils
I was just messing around seeing if I could possibly post a photo - and I did. A great technological leap for me. This picture was taken last year, but the daffs look lovely this year too. It's very cold outside, too cold to be snapping. xxx

This is the third cough/ virus/ infection since November and they have knocked me for 6. Any advice?
Hi there. I am new to the site and consider myself to be healthy, but unlucky when it comes to illness. I was asthmatic as a child, spending time in hospital when I was very young, which was horrid. Anyway, over time asthma seemed to disappear and I went without use or need of an inhaler from my 20s

CT scan?
I was diagnosed with moderate copd on the basis of a breathing test last summer. X-ray at the time didn't show anything. Neither my GP nor the respirologist I had one appt with said I need a CT scan done. (GP is worried about radiation exposure) How do you know exactly what you have if you dont have

Cold/flu symptoms
Just curious to know if cold/flu symptoms could be a post op symptom, I’m 4 weeks post op and this is the second time in 4 weeks I’ve felt feverish with flu symptoms. Is immune system affected post op, if so how long for? Feel like all I do is post on here constantly!

10 days off with a chesty cold
10 days ago I finished wk5 & then came down with a cold. Hopefully this Friday I’m planning on resuming. Should I go straight in to the week 6 plan or restart week 5.

I have been diagnosed with under active thyroid in 2015 and have been on Theroxine 50 ever since. Feeling good. Would like to start taking the Marine Complex, exclusive to IMEDEEN Skincare tablets. From sources across the web I found it contains: Grape seed extract, Zinc, Vitamin C, Lycopene, Vitamin

How long have we got? I just need info and experiences please
Hey all, I've come on here because I'd like some more info on liver failure and the helpline isn't open until Monday so I'm hoping you guys can help? My 93 year old grandad has been in heart failure for some years now and we know his organs are failing. In the last few months though, his tummy has been

Non covid respiratory failure *update*
So 18 days ago I wrote on here to say my husband had tried to end his life. As a consequence of that he ended up on ICU sedated and on a ventilator. The Dr's were struggling to keep his Sat's up. He required high levels of oxygen and high pressure from the ventilator for almost 4 weeks. His kidneys

Darn it and botheration 😷
Hi runny folks, well I made it through two runs of week 4 and managed it pretty well - although I felt pretty tired all day after my second run on Friday. Felt happy enough to take a photo of the flowers coming through! Woke up on Saturday with my sinusitis feeling like it was turning into the beginnings

Pneumonia Vaccines : How many kinds of pneumonia vaccines are there? (CLL )
I received a lot of responses to my recent pnuemonia susceptability question. Now I think there may be more vaccines for pnuemonia than the two pneumovaccines I had when first diagnosed with CLL., based on the responses I received. To the Community in the USA :, what are the Pneumovaccines available
