Hi Everyone, I previously posted here when I was first given inhalers in 2020 to manage after-effects of COVID/pneumonia. I was on Flutiform 250mg x2 twice a day. They seemed to help a lot and eventually I stopped taking them just before Christmas.
Recently I have noticed that when it is cold outside I get an icy feeling in my upper chest that I can't seem to shift. Is this likely to be due to the asthma coming back or something else (I still have some other issues including cardiac so I suppose it may be that too).
Thanks for reading

Just wondered if you could help me I'm being changed and upped to this stronger inhaler today from 125 dose just wondered we're there any side effects from inhaler how long do u think it took help u? My asthma uncontrolled at mo doctor said to try it consultant has cancelled my appointment again. Back on steroids I was only on thrm last week back off work I'm Ta at school. Thanks
Hi there- the main issue I had was shaky hands and palpitations straight after taking the doses for the first few days. I also found steroid inhalers gave me cramps , but eating a banana a day seemed to help with that. I hope your new dose works out for you. I recorded my peak flow before taking each dose, which really helped to see what medication and dose worked for me.Hth
The cold is one of my main triggers too and I definitely know what you mean with an 'icy' feeling! It definitely is an icy feeling in my chest and can feel it in my back too. The coughing with it is very uncomfortable!
