Battling the autoimmune blues but hey at least a dermatology letter has helped.
A friend came by earlier and remarked that she’s never seen me this low before. She worked out that it’s all the worry about the Corona virus that is sending me spiralling down. Basically I snapped the poor woman’s head off when she came into my studio and started chatting about it 🤭🥴🙄 What is getting

Zinc lozenges
This comment was quoted on another forum: "Stock up now with zinc lozenges. These lozenges have been proven to be effective in blocking coronavirus (and most other viruses) from multiplying in your throat and nasopharynx. Use as directed several times each day when you begin to feel ANY "cold-like" symptoms

Vitamin C help for any flu virus (please read)
The Bird Flu was similar in the fact it was/is a deadly viral flu. Dr Hillary Jones was on TV the other day i think it was breakfast TV. Try looking on catch up TV to find the short interview. He was very informative and balanced in his view. He was very reassuring. He advised to treat it like any other

The cold post ablation
Hello, I'm now just 6 weeks post ablation. I still get little blips and a bounding pulse every now and then and my heartburn is getting better but I think I'm coming down with a cold. I have a sore throat (2 days now) and am very tired. No other symptoms. Has anyone else been sick so soon after ablation

A Comparison of between Covid-19, a Cold, the Flu, Hay Fever and Asthma plus other Coronavirus updates
Close comparison of the two viruses creates a worrisome picture of what could happen if COVID-19 becomes widespread in the United States, infectious disease experts say. The new coronavirus is more infectious than the flu and appears to strike with much more severity in certain vulnerable groups.

Can this Israeli corovavirus drug 'completely prevent' lung damage?

failure

Newbie ….what next?
Hello my Husband was admitted to our local hospital in August 2019 , with a huge fluid build up, whilst in there it was mentioned he had Heart failure and trace of asbestos in his lungs. On discharge there was no mention of any lung problems and he has been seen by HF nurses. 7 months down the line

Levo "MUST" be taken in the morning!
I had a sore throat which developed into quite a nasty cough. There's almost no sign of any lingering infection but the cough is driving me nuts and sleeping is difficult. So I went to the chemist for some cough mixture. It seemed a good idea to check how long should be left between cough mixture

Hi All I’m very troubled but not quite panicking. I’ve been on steroids for 6 years for PMR. I’ve been on 5mg for a couple of years - it’s too low a dose but I’ve had bad side effects - so I manage my life on 5mg. At the end of October I caught a bug from my sister which turned into pneumonia. Following

Cold nose
I'm on T3/T4 combo, happy with dosing and fit. I take meds in the morning. I have had cold fingertips (often wrinkly and blue-ish) in the wintertime since childhood and spectacularly cold feet but over the last few years, since T3 and menopause, this has gone away ... but I now have a very cold nose

Staying warm
How to stay warm when going for a run. I tend to feel the cold and the thought of running in the cold has stopped me going for a run. I graduated from C25k and have done a parkrun and now lost motivation

Permanent AF and A flutter but rate control reasonable but permanent erratic rhythm AF is this something you can live ?
Permanent AF and A flutter- rate reasonable but rhythm not AV node ablation was on the cards but not now as rate under control, I am little concerned as I do have moderate heart failure as well. I have a pacemaker to control bradycardia and sinus pauses which is great, but the rhythm is so erratic
