Hi everyone, I have done the lab after 3 months of first diagnosed as CKD stage 2 and just received both good news and bad news on it. Good news: eGFR increased from 82 to 97.5 and Albuminuria is no more occurring. Bad news: My HbA1c is 6.4%, which is showing that I am severely at the threshold between

Post transplant tacrolimus doses
Just curious - husband had liver transplant 2014 and came home on 8mg which was reduced to 5mg and has since been taking the same amount of Advagraf - so 5 years later he is still on 5mg 🤔🤔🤔 his last bloods said it was below target range (4-10 I think) 🤷♀️ - has anyone else experienced this ????

Flu shot effects
Two days ago I got a flu shot because I have two young children and am frequently around my elderly grandparents. Most years I remember it being a non issue but this year I feel really knocked out. I'm run down, tired and achey and even a little nauseated today. I even felt cold this afternoon and laid

I finished FCR a year ago and in the past couple of months or so have begun to feel more like the old me and less tired. However, in this weather in the UK (8 degrees now, but was below freezing the last few days) I feel miserably cold. I am in bed with an electric blanket, 2 jumpers, 2 T shirts and

Try to cough it up Mom ...
So this is what I have been saying to Mom for the last four or five days now, "Try to cough harder Mom ... " I have done some reading on here, and trying to piece together anything I can regarding what may or may not be happening with Mom. It isn't constant, but I hear gurgling going on, and she does

All screwed up!
W8.2 complete but Strava didn’t record and the run logged as 8.3 not 8.2! Cold fingers and a lack of concentration I guess. Knee was better but ankle was a bit locked up before I did my warm up. Cold and crisp on the seafront.

Cold remedies
31 weeks and I've come down with a nasty cold and really need some relief. I've been doing all the usual things: warm steamy baths, honey and lemon tea, paracetamol. But I am really struggling! Is there anything else anyone can recommend?

John
Good Morning All John came out of hospital yesterday thank goodness. The pneumonia bug has gone but he is still very breathless, is this normal? He was in hospital for 10 days just getting up to go to the bathroom so I imagine he would be a lot weaker and breathless, but he is very down about it.
