How bad is it?
Does anyone understand BNP levels mine is 2963ng/L I think normal is between 0.0. 150. I think it indicates heart failure but not sure. Before I can have echocardiogram privately I need referral from GP who would you believe it is off sick!!

NT-proBNP Level query
Trying to line up a few questions for a Cardio call in December and cannot seem to find this bit out. My last Se N-term pro BNP conc result was 444 ng/L, is this the same as pg/mL? It came back as abnormal with normal given as 0-400, I`m 66, so could I have Heart failure as no one has said I have.

Constant cough reflex
I just want to find out if anyone else suffers from the same as me, and if so what to do about it as it’s driving me crazy. I currently have a cough which started out as a tickly throat about a week ago causing all-consuming fits of coughing, eyes watering etc etc. But it’s evolved now into a seemingly

Work and CLL
I was fine initially but eventually went into

and later on a ventilator. I recovered and several months later was told I have leukemia. Work has been great about my leave but it’s getting crunch time. They want to know what my plans are?

Main symptom asthma cough
Hi All Anyone here have asthma where their main symptom is a dry cough! Triggers are cleaning product, perfume/scent, smells, flowers, air con and a cold/virus! I can walk into a room and smell something, which I know will set me off and have to leave immediately! So difficult to get away from smell

Flu and BMB
I’ve got this awful flu that’s going about at the moment, had it about a week, previous to that I’d had a slight cough and runny nose, that was starting to clear when my husband started with bad flu (even worse than man flu!) I followed two days later. Neither of us has ever been as bad as this before

Covid, continuous dry cough causing sleep loss and what to do next?
Tested positive for Covid 3 days ago after previous 3 days of cold/ flu like symptoms. Temperature (38°C for one day) and deadly sore throat now gone. Continuous dry cough remains. Kept me awake for last 5 nights. Diaphragm now aching and painful when I cough. Tried all sorts - hot honey and lemon drinks

New Year , and I've Come Down With Strep. Here's Some Info if You Suspect It and Need to Get Tested Safely
So a New Year begins , but rather than hitting the ground running I've hit it with a thud. We had guests for the first Christmas since COVID and one of them had a nasty cough. My OH came down with symptoms a week ago and then I got the tell tale signs a few days ago. So , we contacted the GP surgery

Continuing to take a Preventer during a cold when you need a Reliever
Could anyone advise please. I take a preventer (Clenil Modulate) regularly and Salbutemol as a reliever. I have a bad cold at the moment and need too take the Salbutemol but do I still need to take the preventer?

What do you all eat with a stomach Flu?
I sported a fever of 101 yesterday and had stomach distress. Today I'm better but still struggling with my stomach. I've been eating plain Jasmine rice but every time I put anything in, it feels like a nasty lump. What do you all eat with tummy flu?

Asthma attack in woodland - could it be leaf mould?
Hi, Hope you’re all well and enjoyed Xmas and new year. I’ve just experienced an asthma attack that went on and on, while walking my dog in the woods. I had to repeatedly take ventolin until I managed to get out of the woods (got lost while in there!🙄). The air was very cold and I didn’t think to
