Starting running after covid pneumonia
It developed into pneumonia, and
respiratory
failure
. I was in hospital for a month, on complete bed rest. When I came out I had to learn to walk again, which took a week, and it was 2 months before I could walk 30 meters.

Could this be asthma? PFT results
23F, 123lbs, 10 years daily smoking marijuana. For 3 years I've had chronic daily phlegm - like hocking up a loogie. I started getting chest pains and some shortness of breath after quitting smoking 2 months ago. I have been on Flovent inhaler for 2 months but nothing before this. My PFT seems indicative

Hello everyone. I need some help. My mum has CLL and had been on venetoclax + rituximab since November 2021 (rituximab suspended early due to lowered neutrophils). We had several mishaps (e.g. frequent diarrhoea) however she was quite well until she got on 16 May and she tested covid positive. She

Heart muscle not working properly
I had an angiogram Monday and the doctor yold me my heart muscle is not working properly. To my understanding this is heart failure. Am I correct? I have also been told to 'get fitter' and he will see me in 3 months. The problem is I had two knee replacements (one which went badly wrong the second

do I qualify
I have Bronchiectasis, repeated pneumonia has resulted in a collapsed lower left lobe. I also have two PE in my upper right lung. I am lucky enough to be able to work, my job is mainly office based. However walking from the car if I can’t park on-site is starting to be a problem. I am 55 and otherwise

Heart Failure Question
Hello I am looking for some perspective I think. My husband was not treated for his AF and high heart rate for four weeks until I managed to get him to ignore the GP and go to A& E, He was diagnosed with heart failure (35%) and is now on 8 different drugs. He had a follow up procedure booked (cardioversion

Mucus cough & not sleeping
Wondering if any ladies can offer some advice - I’d call the doctors but they take up to 5 working days to return calls. I’m 32w today and have had a horrendous mucus cough and cold over the weekend. I’ve ended up calling in sick today as I physically cannot function due to only having 6 hours sleep

Pneumonia and Azathioprine/Prednisolone
I had managed just over 2 years since my last case of pneumonia after i swore by the 'onion trick', to treat resp infections. I've been having maybe a month and a half of apnoec and SOB episodes which were finally improving after a few weeks of antiepileptic medication, Keppra. But as the dose increased
