Anti CCP +
Hi all, Just curious about fellow patients with anti-ccp positive RA status. I have read that anti-ccp positive typically indicates more aggressive disease course and worse joint erosion. I started enbrel a few months ago and was feeling great, but now I seem to be back where I started. Today I’m in

6 weeks - Subchorionic Bleed
Hey so had 5DFET transfer 20th April. Got our BFP and all was looking good. I had a huge bleed last night and had an early scan. HCG levels are 30897 and the Baby looked fine, right size and good heartbeat. They found the bleed was because I have a large subchorionic bleed below the GS. I have been signed

SCH and work are being awful
I've got a Sub Chrionic Hematoma. I've been brown sporting continuously since week 7. I'm now week 9. I took 2 weeks off work from the start of April because of all the worry of it. I went back in to work today and was told I'm not getting paid sickness. Apparently you have to work a full week at the

Are my symptoms related to hypothyroidism or myasthenia gravis?
I displayed symptoms of MG, but tests proved negative. I am 76 years of age and I did read that an expert Professor of MG in Canada, says that elderly people do not always test positive for MG. Usually, their symptoms start with speech problems, as in my case. I was unable to communicate effectively

Lap recovery - how was it for you?
I’m 2 weeks post lap and hysteroscopy tomorrow, had quite a lot of endo removed via diathermy and also a uterine polyp taken out. Even though it’s nearly a fortnight since I haven’t seen much progress in recovery, im still completely exhausted and not past the point of doing much more than bed rest

In 6th week of pregnancy had severe abdomen pain and little brownish discharge. Now I'm on rest and medication. Will my baby be safe?!!!
I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks i.e., in the month of July 2017. Again I'm pregnant and had a scan at 5week 5 days. Yolk sac was seen but not the cardiac pole. Doctor advised me to scan after 2 weeks. I.e., I have to take this week. But meanwhile in 6th week I had severe abdomen pain in the morning

MY BIPOLAR DISORDER
It was my GP who has diagnosed me with bipolar and said she was convinced that I had it. I had not mentioned the previous diagnosis by the psychiatrist. I asked her quite pointedly how she had come to that conclusion. Her answer somewhat surprised me, as her explanation was far more graphic and so much

Ironic investigation outcome!
So... following lumbar punctures (yes plural, I’ve apparently also got a wonky spine) I’ve now got post Dural migraines. Which is ironic seeing as the LPs were to find out what was causing my headaches. Typical. LPs seemed to have triggered my symptoms again- tinnitus, spasms, tremor, eye sight. Currently

Brewer's / nutritional yeast without inactive b12 analogues?
Hello, I’ve noticed that whenever I eat brewer’s yeast (flakes), my deficiency symptoms re-appear and the injections don’t work anymore. This is because brewer’s yeast contains b12 analogues (inactive b12), that apparently interfere (severely) with normal, active b12 metabolism. However, on the other

Looking for help with isolation and symptoms please
Hi everyone, I’m new to this whole online community idea, but am hopeful that it will help me feel less isolated and disconnected from other people. I’ve been very ill with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS/ME) for just over three years now. I’m still housebound and need 16-18 hours bed rest per day. However

Zoladex, Endo and nothing going right.
Hi, I'm 25 years old and on week 3 of my first Zoladex injection. I have endometriosis on my left ovary, pouch of Douglass and suspected higher up in the abdomen. I have been on contraceptive pills from around 13 due to severe bleeding and pains but they had to stop giving them to me a few years back

Post AF ablation Day 3.
Hey all, So I had an ablation on Wednesday for AF and SVT. They couldn’t bring about the SVT but tell me that the AF ablation went really well. It was a pretty traumatic experience if I’m honest, nothing really prepared me for after the procedure. I woke up with a racing heart and extreme tightness
