I went to the doctors today, I’ve been coughing so much. I’ve still got some pus behind my tonsils & the last couple of days I assumed I had a tablet stuck in my throat. But turns out I coughed up something hard I brought up a lil stone... FOUL! Calcified rock...
My voice is hoarse & I’ve been loosing it. So I’m on strict voice rest. & bed rest. (At least Everyone in the house are gunna be happy 😃) no more of me talking for England & not even allowed to whisper! I will be wearing a approach with caution label & I hope no one annoys me as I won’t be able to shout back lol! the doctor thinks I’ve pulled a muscle in my heart too
I had some stabbing pains this morning & one big sharp pain that felt like a thud in my chest. He’s made me aware the violent coughing fits could have caused it.
The centre of my chest bone is very tender to touch, could have internal bruising, but jeez I do feel like absolute crap! Antibiotics won’t help, so it’s just painkillers & rest. & hopefully in a few weeks I’ll be on the Mend. It Really does take it out of you. I started off with flu, then strep throat then chest infection, & now laryngitis & Strained muscle in my heart. Never ending....
But I thought I’d keep you all informed.

Good to have the bulletin, even if it is a bit grim! I'm especially feeling your coughing pains. After my pneumonia a few weeks ago, my rib muscles are so tender now I can't sleep except sitting bolt upright.
Let's hope you get a bit of a break to recover now x
Hey Whisperit 💔 sorry to hear you’ve been suffering with pneumonia. Your ribs must be so sore !! It’s crazy how we all are literally being dragged to hell and back, I sometimes think my health has been cursed. I know I must sound like a hypochondriac with all of my exhausted list of illness,
I read back some of my posts & I feel a little stupid, & worried that ppl would think that. I’ve been ill this entire year, I truly hope & pray 2018 will stop throwing rocks at things that shine & give me the break some space & time to rebuild myself. I would be in awe for remission, but I need a true diagnosis first. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻
Rest well & take some time out for you, it’s been a rough year for us all. A break is much needed. Much love xx
It was very good thanks. The usual fatigue and aches & pains but thankfully nothing significant. Ive been lucky at this time of year, its usually January when it hits me most. Take care of yourself x

Aww your so lovely misty, yep it’s been a rubbish year, constant battle with my body. But hopefully 2018 will bring me some golden answers. I guess if I had a definite diagnosis I’d be in a better place, but I’m still dangling in mid air & hoping I can soon find a safe place to land.
Your lovely too being able to think of others despite your own health problems!. I'm just wondering if you'd be able to drink so liable Vit C?. Might help you build your poor immune system up a bit as you've been so poorly and you don't want anything else.
I had a lovely Xmas thank you. My special US penfriend made it for me with touching present and phone call!. We'd met up earlier in the year!. My colitis is flaring for new year, got strong pain so will be having colonoscopy sometime like you!. Hope it leads to better treatment!. I do hope you feel stronger soon and get the treatment you so desperately need!. Keep dangling, you will get there!. Fingers tightly crossed for you. X
I feel your pain. I was told the other week I had tonsillitis, even though my tonsils were removed 18 years ago (apparently they can vow back) was put on antibiotics and had a reaction to them. Went to gp again Friday As it felt like swallowing razor blades wrapped in barbed wire. Been told to just gargle salt water, take Strefen and paracetamol, as have such a short range if antibiotics available. Worst thing is the bloody cough where some times it’s dry and pathetic and others I’m coughing up loads of crap. Hope you feel better soon xxx
💔❤️, tonsillitis is so painful !! I couldn’t wrap my head around the fact That they can Grow back how strange is that ! I still have mine... they must of been strong antibiotics?? Ouch I can totally relate to the Razor blade feeling, every time I swallow it feels like I’ve swallowed broken glass. Its brought me to tears 😭.
Salt water is good but it doesn’t react well with my reflux! Acid taste mixed with salt 💚🤢🤮
What is strefen? Paracetamol is ok for temp but it doesn’t take the pain away for me. I would advise you try dissolvable paracetamol or cocodamol, I sometimes gargle it & then swallow. They don’t taste nice to some ppl but I like them & very used to them. I can’t take big tablets if there tiny I will but everything i receive from the GP medication wise is liquid or suspension.
Omg the cough!!! It’s literally relentless ! I feel your pain & frustration I’m coughing up hard Little Rock’s, I call them mini asteroids! Where I coughed so hard & the Little Rock came up it also scratched my throat & I bought up blood which really scared me !! I assumed it was a blood clot but after examining it 🤢 it was hard. So I’ve been tasting blood for a few days.

Do you take anything for the cough ? Night nurse was a blessing, it helped ease the soreness knocked me out for a few hours & suppressed the deep wrenching cough. It’s really good stuff. But I suppose you have to be careful that it doesn’t react to any medication that your on. I really do feel for you as it’s bloody awful & I always get scared when I have trouble swallowing, makes me anxious. Some GPs don’t have empathy to how you feel so you kinda leave there office feeling worse than you did prior to walking in.
It’s just nice & comforting to know someone understands.
Despite feeling so unwell How was your Christmas? I hope you managed to eat your Christmas dinner? I’ve been on liquids prior to flu & strep due to not being able to digest fats & solids GI is a bitch ! . So very malnutrition & anaemic. But introducing mashed foods & that’s how I enjoyed mine. Enough to feed a sparrow as my dad says but I ate.
Did you get any nice gifts ? My son 13 years old was spoilt rotten & he told me & my parents partner & his kids that it was the best Christmas they’ve ever had & it was all because of me.. which was priceless & the ultimate gift I could ever receive. I don’t know how I managed to cope, as I was like the walking dead. I know I didn’t wash my hair for 4 days barely ate & drank or even spoke a word & I wrapped for 8 hours straight, totally wiped my body out, by Christmas Day I looked 90 & felt it !! Ha ha but everyone was happy so it was worth the pain scale of 11. Rest well hun, it takes time to recover & heal. Treat yourself to some Ben & Jerry’s ice cream 🍨. & if I don’t speak to you before midnight, happy new year. Xx hope you feel better soon & take care of you x
