Does this count as quitting....?
Hi guys! Firstly, MASSIVE congrats to all of you who have managed to kick the smoking habit. :D Just wondering. For the past 24 days I've not smoked a cigarette (was a 20+ a day roll up smoker). I have, however been using an e-cig - so still 'inhaling' nicotine, albeit without the thousands of other

I used my local

scheme run by the council. I used champix which had a lot of bad press, but I found it ok and I don't even think about cigs now. Not even when I get stressed

So it's been 5 weeks since I met you all and boy have I been a really really bad

Hi Everyone!
That is the day I truly
quit
. I did not think it was possible. I started
smoking
when I was 17 and stopped two months before I turned 27. I honestly have never felt better in my life. I have so much energy and confidence that it is amazing.

He
quit

Wow!!!!
I believe today marks 4 months that I've
quit
.... I'm so happy, and
smoking
seems like a lifetime ago. I don't ever want to smoke again. Looking back, it was easy for me to quit. I was ready and the nasty withdrawal were well worth the feeling I have now. I hope everyone is doing great!!!!!!

EVERYTHING tastes awful!!
I
quit
smoking
early November and since then EVERYTHING I eat or drink just tastes awful!! Nothing that I ate before tastes the same. It is just awful trying to plan a meal or anything because nothing tastes good! Has anyone else had this problem?? I used Chantix to quit and used only 1 month.

What would happen if I
quit
smoking
today? What would happen if I don't
quit
smoking
? What kind of damage does smoke do to my lungs, including 2nd-hand smoke?

Got the shoes, now need to get off the couch!
I've
quit
smoking
in the last couple of months, so now is the time to move on and do something about my weight and general fitness. I would like to lose 2.5 - 3 stones but I'm not a gym bunny. I'm going to do my first session this evening (once it gets dark so the neighbours don't see me)!

Day 21
I
quit
smoking
21 days ago and was wondering how everyone else felt at this point? I feel healthier but have been suffering alot of heartburn and bleeding g gums. As a dental nurse I know how nicotine affects gums so not overly concerned about that. The heartburn is my main worry. Thank you 😊

My birthday
I expect it will be a challenge as most of my friends smoke but I am sure I shall enjoy my birthday more for not
smoking
. my husband doesn't smoke and my son
quit
over a year ago so I know they will be supportive (my son will watch me like a hawk, lol).

I've had derealisation for 3 1/2 years now.
I thought it would just go away after I
quit
smoking
so I wasn't scared. Well eventually I did
quit
smoking
and it never went away. Started smoking again a year and a half later in college for about 6 months. The derealisation got about 4x worse. It's stayed that way ever since.
