Tubular Adenomas
Polyp
biopsy came back saying tubular adenoma. How concerned should I be? I suspect the results are much better than Cancer, but honestly, I've never even heard of adenomas before. Are they usually removed during the colonoscopy or will I now need some type of surgery, or ?

WHAT’S BEHIND THE RISE IN COLON CANCER AMONG YOUNG PEOPLE?

If there is one thing about colorectal cancer that could be described as “positive,” it is that the malignancy takes years to develop. It all starts with a
polyp
, a small clump of cells on the lining of the colon.

At age 23 I bled for 50 days and had an MRI scan which showed an endometrioma, adenomyosis and a
polyp
. My gynaecologist wanted to perform surgery but I said no as I read surgery could do more damage to the ovaries and often led to recurrent surgeries. I chose to take medication to stop my periods.

Planning for transfer #5 but terrified
A
polyp
removed in June and a normal biopsy after that. Part of me feels like I'm wasting time and money, part of me is still hopeful, desperate to complete my family. This isn't a question, just a vent. I'm scared to go on and equally scared to stop .

Precancerous polyps removed, new symptoms 8 years later
They removed seven polyps, four of which were pre-cancerous, the largest
polyp
being 7 mm. They told me to be checked again in 4 years which I was, and it came back clear. Lately, I'd say the past 6 months, I started having mucus in my bowel movements again. Then they started getting flat.

Colonscopy
Meanwhile I have had two Colonscopis, 1st one was a fail but they found a
polyp
, I was too dirty for any further treatment. (Plenvu ) Second one, again failed but the Doctor managed to clean up space and took the
polyp
out, he then had to use 5 metal clamps to close it up.

Association of Low-Dose Aspirin Use With Prevention of Colorectal Cancer- more good news for those of us on aspirin therapy.
Rofecoxib (Vioxx), a COX-2 inhibitor was associated with a reduction in
polyp
formation.2 Therefore, prostaglandin E2 reduction might be one of the mechanisms behind
polyp
formation, and, in the long run, CRC risk. Of course, rofecoxib was associated with increased cardiovascular events.

If anyone has any experience of this or advice I'm all ears.....Following ultrasounds for pelvic pain that showed i had a bulky womb, small fibroids, plus a

at the top of my cervix, I had an MRI done.

Nasal polyps no asthma
Eventually got in at the gp and he told me I had a nasal
polyp
. Was given flixonase which I have been on for over a week now. Have about 8 weeks worth of drops. This morning got a letter to make an appointment at ENT. Which I'm struggling to do as there is no appointments apparently.

Hysteroscopy with local anaesthetic
Hi I need a Hysteroscopy to remove a
polyp
before I can start my IVF treatment. I’m having it done privately, but even then the wait for it to be done under a general anaesthetic was about 10 weeks.

Is this thyroid?
After having a cervical
polyp
removed I mentioned the symptoms to my gynaecologist who said it wasn’t menopause as my blood indicated I was post and headaches etc tend to improve at this time.

Laparoscopy Went Well
Hello everyone, Some of you may be aware that I went into hospital yesterday for a hysteroscopy, a laparoscopy and the removal of a small uterine
polyp
. I thought it might be helpful to just explain how I chose to manage my steroids over this period of time.

Weight gain - Post treatment but prior to FET
Hello everyone, I started my fertility journey in March and was really lucky to have 2 embryo’s frozen, but due to a
polyp
haven’t yet had my FET. I was just wondering if anyone had noticed an increase in weight after treatment.

How did you stay positive and connected? Awaiting transfer of last embryo from this round.
I had a hysteroscopy and the gynae found what he thought was a giant
polyp
/something more sinister. After two weeks of sheer anxiety, it turns out there was no malignancy or
polyp
, just normal endometrial tissue and the advice is 'keep going".
