I intend to go back on the iron following polyp removal on Friday. It is possible that the bowel polyp was bleeding and I’m hoping things will normalise in time. Could you please advise me on the dosage of iron bisglycinate for this level of ferritin?

Unfortunately this cycle had to be cancelled after egg retrieval due to discovery of a polyp. I had embryos frozen and surgery to remove the polyp. I am due to start a frozen cycle with medication starting in less than 2 weeks, had a scan that showed polyp had gone and was healing well.

We can’t proceed with our FET anyway until my TSH levels are reduced but if I investigate the polyp it will delay things further. I’m 37 and would rather not wait. Has anyone here had a polyp and left it and got their BFP?

Hey gang, Although aware that a precancerous polyp evolving into malignancy is a slow process, what is the probability of said polyp appearing and collateral cancer developing three to four years following a clear colonoscopy, in which no polyps were discovered?

Following a baseline scan a endometrial polyp was found pausing my treatment. I had the polyp removed in June and I think I had a period just after my surgery (I was due the day of my procedure) but couldn't say what was period or post procedure bleed.

Discovered and removed uterine polyp and it stopped the bleeding immediately. Polyp was the cause of the heavy bleeding for me. Now I am facing 2 choices, go back on the pill, or continue with my journey of healing without the pill and surgeries.

However, it stated that it would now be a full procedure and polyp would be removed during the same procedure.

So i had the colonoscopy last May and the took the polyp out (2cm) and it was a tubulovillous adenoma polyp.

I However, one must have a polyp removed first to prevent the embryo attaching to the polyp. The wait list for polyp removal under NHS is 2 to 3 years., which of course is not feasible as I'm not getting any younger.

I am now in the difficult position of deciding whether to carry on with round two, due to surge tomorrow or Saturday, or to stop and investigate the polyp.

Trying to be conscious of what I eat as 1cm polyp last time so they certainly recommend cutting back on red meat in any event.

After stims the scan has now shown a polyp. The polyp only seems to be there after stims. I haven’t got as far as a transfer yet. Consultant has advised a hysteroscopy (year waiting list) or to try a natural cycle FET. Has anyone experienced this? Polyps after stim meds?

What supplements did everyone take for their FET and was it successful? I’m taking the Zita West bundle but don’t know if it’s overkill (and expensive!), especially when I can’t have my transfer yet until I’ve had a polypectomy. Thank you.

Last couple of years had thrombin burning itch in rectal area which doc thought was haemorrhoids but coloniscopy found none, had a polyp removed. Am now awaiting colorectal appt & am currently using gnt ointment which isn't really helping. Anyone else had similar?

Had a colonoscopy 2 yrs ago with the removal of one very small polyp.

I'm going for a nasal polyp removal operation next week (Private) and I needed a blood test and cardioelectrogram prior. There were some minor values 0.01 up or down on 2 or 3 values mostly inflammation indicators.
