Planning for transfer #5 but terrified

I feel quite vulnerable while writing this. My 4th transfer in September failed. I've had 2 with OE and moved on to DE for the last 2 transfers, 4AAs but not sticking. The clinic wants to do a thorough blood test, which I'm planning to do December. I'm 45yrs old and anxious that 46 is around the corner (March). I have Adenomyosis, had Endometriosis (all clear now) and had fibroids (shrunk through embolization). A polyp removed in June and a normal biopsy after that. Part of me feels like I'm wasting time and money, part of me is still hopeful, desperate to complete my family. This isn't a question, just a vent. I'm scared to go on and equally scared to stop .

I’ve also just had failed 4th transfer at 47 with DE. Don’t give up hope. You’re not alone x

Thanks. I'm going to keep trying.. but each failure takes a piece of me 😞 I'll do the recommended blood tests and regroup emotionally in prep for the next round.. we have 3 embryos left. I wish you all the best and success with your next transfer x

Hi Mikki100, I am 44 and had 3 failed DE transfers (last one was 4AA). I did microbiome and infections testing (menstrual sample and vaginal swab) and I had a couple of infections. Was given antibiotics and took probiotics to increase the lactobacillus (good bacteria). I retested and results came back good so went ahead with my next DE transfer which was PGTA tested. It implanted and currently am 12 weeks pregnant. PM if you want more info. I wish you all the best xx

Wow. That is absolutely amazing congratulations! You give me hope. I've just ordered the microbiome tests and I've started taking probiotics tablets and kefir.

I feel you! Currently gearing up for transfer 7 (!) - my second with DE. Never had a positive ever. I hope your blood test shows something that’s easily treated & your next transfer is a success 🤞🤞🤞
