Hashimoto's Encephalopathy
I'm wondering how much people know about this condition?. I've had what feels like Brian inflammation for over a month. Other issues I have all seem to match up. I already thought I had viral encephalitis before testing positive for covid-19. Doctor are all pointing towards my thyroid or stress/anxiety

Actavis v Accord levothyroxine
I usually get the actavis brand of levothyroxine, if the pharmacy forgets and gives me Teva, I give it straight back before leaving the counter. It gives me terrible heartburn. So now the pharmacy have given me accord saying it's made by the same company as actavis. So, anyone know the difference between

Despite taking tirosint my tsh is still rising
Hey guys i started tirosint back in January for hypothyroidism. I was on 13 mcg at first and my levels were t4 1.08 and tsh 13.90. After a month at 25 my levels are t4 .99. And tsh has sky rocketed to 24.50. Any ideas on why the medicine is making my levels worse?

The BTK-inhibitor ibrutinib may protect against pulmonary injury in COVID-19 infected patients
"Ibrutinib and possibly other BTK-inhibitors may therefore provide protection against lung injury, and even improve pulmonary function in hypoxic patients with COVID-19 as we observed in this series of WM patients on ibrutinib. These findings should be considered as hypothesis generating and preliminary

Hair loss
I am on 100mcg levothyroxine and was diagnosed with Hashimoto's just over a year ago. I am beside myself as I am losing so much head hair, not in patches but all over and I've also lost a lot of my eyelashes. The rest of my body hair I don't care about! Is this is symptom of hypothyroidism and/or Hashimoto's

Preservatives and other ingredients in injections
Hi! I'm wondering if anyone has opinions about or has researched preferable preservatives/ingredients in injections. Hashitoxicosis and mental health
Just wondering if anyone had any experience of hashitoxicosis? What symptoms did you experience and how long did it last? I have Hashimotos and am seeing a psychiatrist soon about various mental health issues, a diagnosis of bipolar has been mentioned but am worried it could acutally be hashitoxicosis

Hi all, I asked on my previous post about sourcing T3. But I think the post got buried. I’m in the UK and want to buy some from a trusted source to try it as I don’t appear to be great at converting t4. Please could you PM me if you are in the UK saved have a good source or from anywhere and know

Acalabrutinib three weeks appointment
I don’t know where my previous post went. Very likely, I did something wrong, so here it goes. The only side effect was bad headache for one week after which it became dull and I don’t even need to take Tylenol. Some fatigue and less energy and that is all. 👍🏻 My results are: WBC low at 3.9,

Very high BP this morning, can't get to doc, can I take more irbesartan?
I'm new here. I take 150 mg of Irbesartan at night. Blood pressure was 190/110 this morning. Can I take more Irbesartan until I can get to the doc? Their office is closed for the weekend. I do not want the ER due to the current virus exposure.

Silly question re vitamin supplementation
I’m currently on a T4/t3 trial and have been monitored for the last 6 months at an endo clinic. I previously posted my last medichecks results which were done in July 2019 and all were good except that vitamin d whilst in range was a bit low. I’ve been supplementing since. I’m due back at the clinic
