Micturation and AF - the reason?
Some time ago we had a discussion (with some hilarious posts) about frequent loo visits to pee during AF and it was a question which I put during a consultation but didn't get an definitive answer. I had a recent run of SVT episodes and the same trotting to the loo occurred. Apparently it is because

Addison's Disease and Adrenal Issues- Are they something completely apart from Thyroidism?
I read an article in a newspaper yesterday about someone with Addison's Disease and cortisol problems. It was such a shame that this was happening at such an important time in her life.I was surprised that there was not one referral to the Thyroid in the whole account, which somewhat puzzled me. My Mother

Re Chronotherapy body clock and thyroid meds.
I find this interesting and hope it will help us all but I'm still trying to get my head around it. I know I'll never make a scientist. I read Paul Robinson's book and did some readings for him. He was kind enough to comment and I have been following his advice. Except for the early tablet. It seems

Whats the difference between Ultra scan or Thyroid Scintigraphy? When would they be used?
I've had an Ultrsound scan of my thyroid but I'm awaiting an appointment for a Thyroid Scintigraphy I think! I have Hashi's and my thyroid blood tests are all over the place due to negligence of GP and just wondered what test is best for looking at the thyroid gland?

Hi All Is it safe to take ursodeoyxcholic acid whilst breastfeeding?
I was diagnosed with PBC recently after having my second child, he is 7 month's old and I am still breastfeeding. I mentioned this to the consultant who said it would be okay to take ursodeoxycholic acid which he has prescribed on a dosage of 600 mg twice daily. However, on reading the leaflet it says

Naloxone Infusion
Has any one had the naloxone infusion? It's to treat my itching. I've been to see a dermatologist today and have to go in hospital for 5 days to start the treatment. I would love to hear if this has been a success for any pbc patients.

Bulimia and Hypo - Any links?
Does anyone know if the two are linked? I've been Hypo for many years along with being bulimic, I'm getting worried as the bulimia is getting really out of control. I have been taking T3 for around 6 months now and I'm wondering if this might have excelled the problem? Grateful for any ideas Thanks
