Phosphatidylserine
I thought I posted here about phosphatidylserine but can't find it now.... Does anyone know anything about taking this with APS? It is a phospholipid so as I have antibodies to phospholipids, shouldn't this mean that supplementing with phospholipids could help? Or would it hinder? The product helps

Side Effects of Hydrea?
Ho everyone, I had a stroke last year which led to them discovering that I am Jak2 positive. I was initial put onto Pegasus, but that had horrendous side effects and was then put onto Hydrea. Almost since first getting put onto Hydrea, there have been a bunch of different things that I feel can

Advice re. Churchill hospital
Can anyone who attends the Churchill hospital in Oxford give me a little guidance please. I have been referred to haematology there and have an appointment in late May. I will have to drive to get there (a round trip of about 70 miles) and I understand that parking there is pretty hellish. So if anyone

Elevated Diastolic Blood Pressure & Thyroid?
I’ve read that thyroid issues can increase diastolic blood pressure while systolic remains normal. I’ve been seeing a slight increase / trend with this. Has anyone else seen this and it meant levothyroxine increase needed?

Myo-inositol increasing TSH?
Hello, wondering if anyone has experience of taking myo-inositol and any impact on their TSH please? I’ve been taking it for 4 months for PCOS, TSH was 1.1 just before I started and is now 4.8 (T3 and T4 within range). I read up on it before I started and the (limited) research indicated it could be

Advice needed please about liquid Levothyroxine side effects
Hello, I wrote a post about a month ago saying my adult son was unable to get liquid levothyroxine as it was out of stock. He was taking the brill Pharma brand and tolerated it really well. The chemist managed to source Teva liquid levothyroxine three weeks after we asked for a repeat prescription

Thyroid private blood tests - new company
Hi - A couple weeks ago someone posted a new company offering thyroid tests that have blood drawing clinics in London and is very reasonably priced. I have just had an unfortunate experience with Medichecks as the clinic I chose in London had no appointments for over a month. I am being issued a refund

Hi I’m dory10. I was diagnosed inDec2019 but had it for 27 years. I fall over a lot now I’m having tests to find out why.
I fell down stairs expecting my 3rd child at 37 weeks . She was fine a genius infact but I was left in muscle spasms and so much pain. I was told I was so close to being a paraplegic. I put up with all the little things that went wrong, I was fortunate not to be paraplegic. In 2016 I had a minor car

Creatine
I am on Ursofalk and very well fortunately. I take Bezafibrate for itch (life saver). I have embark on a fitness journey of Crossfit and after 12 months wish to improve even more. I am advised by my coach to take Creatine and that this is natural and improves performance and muscle recovery. Anyone

Ketamine infusion
Hi, I'm wondering had anyone had a Ketamine Infusion for chronic pain? And if so, did it affect you in any way and did you get relief from it? I'm due one tmrw. Pain doc previously told me that it "messes with your head". I've had lignocaine infusions, the highest dose only lasted a week and a half unfortunately

Tried Bovine Thyroid Supplement - feel very ill!
I could really use some help. I just started on a beef thyroid supplement this morning (Grassfed Beef Thyroid by Ancestral Supplements). And it looks like my body is reacting the same way it reacted when I tried 2 porcine thyroid supplements in the past - heart palpitations and severe fatigue. Although

Tirosint
I am unable to take tablet form levothyroxine, I have a gene issue with metabolising some medications. I have started liquid thyroxine but I think the ingredients are affecting my stomach and I have been told to stop taking this to see if it is the cause. I see that Tirosint is quite pure but not sure

Some issues with color differentiation~~
One of my pastimes...is playing games on my phone. About three weeks ago, I noticed I realized my brain was saying...Is that yellow? is that tan? The issue just cropped up every so often. My appointment with the neuro-opthalmologist (I see him every 3+4 months) was coming this week, so I waited.

Mannitol Test
I have just had a mannitol test. The technician just said you probably will not react and it is very rare for it to cause an asthma flare. It was a weird feeling, it was like something growing in my lungs which got steadily worse. They stopped on the fourth capsule, and just told me to get up and go
