Hello sir i'm 27 old male I have only one exposure in my life with a girl who's hiv status was unknown 5 months ago. After two weeks of exposure I got cold and sore throat ear pain and swollen lipnods. After 30 days I have taken tri dot test which came back negative and after 34 days 4th gen duo combo test came back negative after 60 days duo combo test came back negative after 88 days I have taken 4th gen elisa test came back negative but I have tested positive for clymidia and hsv 1&2. From last 5 months im having cold it was not going and i'm experiencing body pains and sometimes fever some small bumps on my back. Is my test for hiv is conclusively negative or do I need any further tests please sir help me.

Hi , If all the HIV tests came back negative you do not have HIV , it is something else making you ill . Just about any infection will cause the symptoms you have . There is another poster on this forum who had same problem as you , and a Covid antibody test came back positive showing that they had had the corona virus .

Hi Aditya. I’m literally in the same situation as you. I’m also 27 lol. I had an exposure in January and tested positive for chlamydia. Also have hsv-1. My left tonsil has been swollen for months. I recently tested positive for covid-19 but I still have a belief it’s HIV even tho my results have been negative.

my girlfriend broke out with a full body rash.

The doctors are saying how azithromycin can cause a rash. But I’m basically 100% convinced I have it because of my prolonged white tongue, tonsils, not feeling well. The doctors are trying to convince me that my tonsil has been enlarged prior to this but I don’t believe them, because I know it’s not true lol. I’m currently 4 months out from my exposure to date. I’m debating doing another test now or waiting until 6 months.

Id love to talk over the phone if your interested. I feel miserable and that I’m in this alone. The doctors don’t want to see me anymore, but I just don’t believe the tests.

Okay let's be positive and don't accept it till u tested positive in both anti gen/ anti body and western blot after 6 months.

I’m trying to stay positive minded, but it’s difficult. It’s very depressing when the doctors are pushing you towards psychiatric help, meanwhile I clearly feel symptoms related to hiv. My issue is not mental. I’m not really sure what else to do

We both are in same situation I'm not feeling well for as long as 5 months.

People who got infected with hiv 99% people will develop antibodies by 84 days remaining people will take long bcz their immune system was weak.

In our case we have developed antibodies for clymidia and hsv1 so it mean our immunity is not weak.

If you still have and doubt as your doctor that if there is a possibility in delay of generating antibodies for hiv if immune system is busy in dealing with hsv and clymidia.

Ask this point and share with me also..
