Could my hip pain be something to do with PA?
I was diagnosed with PA last March. I've had hip pain for about 3 years but it is getting a lot worse since last year. Pain killers don't work and the exercises physio give me only make the pain worse. I went to see a chiropractor yesterday and he was a bit baffled because I'm very flexible so he doesn't

I also have left leg weakness and am undergoing

New type of pain after childbirth
Hello, I’m new here. I’ve had pelvic pain for the last 13 years. I used to see a physical therapist years ago but stopped. I had my second child 6 weeks ago. On Tuesday I had this awful pain at my pelvis/leg socket on my left side. I was crying and it was only better if I laid on my stomach. I also had

Please help! Is it psoriatic arthritis?!
I would love some advice about whatever I am suffering from especially lately. Everyday I feel lost and scared because I don’t know what’s wrong with me or what I can take for it to help the pain to go away. After experiencing a sudden headache, I was diagnosed with multilevel cervical spondylosis back

Hi all
I would love some advice too about whatever I am suffering from especially lately. Everyday I am in distress. You mentioned psoriatic arthritis and I think this is what I have. I was diagnosed with multilevel cervical spondylosis back in 2014. 2016, I started feeling some mild pain on my left side like

Dis-appointment
Update Hello all. Well today I had my first f2f with the consultant since diagnosis and you can probably tell from my title that I am not happy. In fact I am really, really, really p'd off. She was very pleasant and not at all dismissive but she didn't examine, said she agreed that if I have seen

My dad 64 with a tracheostomy - Sedation? Steroids? progress
Hi all, My father is currently at a London Hospital in ICU with covid. What began with CPAP then turned into being fully sedated for over 4 weeks and even called in on the 2nd Feb as they did not think he would make it. We have had 4 calls like that! Only once where we had to go in, He seems to stabilize

Advice Please for Sacro Iliac Joints Problem
Hello all you Wonderful, Knowledgeable People! Some of you may remember a few weeks ago my hammock rope snapped depositing me HARD onto bricks? ‘Tip toeing’ off the IC and running with Renegades
Today I ran It was a slow and easy 4K but it was literally such a relief 😌 and felt like I’d come first in a marathon 🥇🥇 I strained my calf Jan 19th, had an unsuccessful 1.5K Jeffing attempt on Jan 27th and last ran on Feb 6th , a brilliant 2.5K , everything feeling right and no sign of my calf

Starting again
I had to give up at Wk6 R3 a few weeks ago with a sore piriformis. Just started back and I did Wk3,R2 today. It’s a shame to go back but I feel I’ve pitched it right to build myself up again. I really hope I can complete it this time. I got some good physio advice to strengthen my muscles and hip area

The slow road to recovery 😬 a cautionary tale on overdoing it!
Having started C25K late April I graduated and after consolidating at 30 minutes running and then 5k I worked my way over the bridge to 10k, with my first 10k run on 06/11/20 (yay, I was overjoyed.) With one long run a week, a 5k and a ' whatever I'm in the mood for by way of recovery or pushing over

Hemiplegic Migraine and Nerve Pain
So ever since I had a big HM attack in September/October (lasted like 3 weeks), my left side has not been the same. I get nerve pain after moving my leg/arm at times. Weakness and tingling has been appearing on and off. I basically can't rely on my left side anymore (and even typing this was tricky)

Nerve test for male genital sensation loss
Has anyone had a nerve conduction velocity (NCV) test (also called NCS nerve conduction study) in regards to genital numbness or decrease in sensation in that area? I’ve had issues with pelvic pain and some loss of sensation when intimate and having physical therapy (PT) for pudendal neuralgia, however

Update
I forgot to make a post after my appointment on Monday so here I am doing it rather delayed 😅 I was pretty nervous going in as I haven’t really left my house apart from walks within the vicinity of my house and felt an attack coming on but it disappeared once the physio therapist came in. I told him

Does anyone have experience of the Mirena reducing back pain?
Does anyone have any experience of the Mirena coil improving constant pain rather than just cyclical pain? I had an internal ultrasound yesterday and the doctor said she didn’t see any obvious signs of disease and gave me no other advice other than just to try the mirena. I was pretty disappointed with

Why such a deterioration in my symptoms?
I posted on my second and last visit visit to rheumi about how very well I felt. The same night that all changed when my legs felt like concrete and I wanted to get into bed fully clothed I was so tired. Since then I am on my 4th week of tapering from 7.5 of pred aiming to taper very slowly to 7mgs
