My first Migraine, a question
Hello all, I have head aches like everybody has head aches, you take a couple of paracetamol or drink some water and that pretty much sorts it out. Early Saturday afternoon I felt a head ache coming on, I took some paracetamols and had a drink of water, then on Sunday I couldn't move my head without

Confused, miserable and in so much pain :( :(
I had no gynaecological problems at all until around 2 years ago when my periods began to be erratic, I would have 2 periods per month and the bleeding was very heavy. I was sent for a scan which revealed I had several fibroids but none particularly large. First of all the GP tried to deal with it

Problems with the Medical Profession
As the B12 provided by the UK NHS has proved to be totally inadequate for my wife's needs, we have been supplementing her with injections of 1mg Methylcobolamin every month. This is proved to be literally a life-saver. She still gets a B12 shot every 3 months per NICE guidelines. Her recent blood

Ropinirole not working
Hello everyone, I've been taking Ropinirole 0.25mg for 2 weeks for my rls. I have gradually increased my dose (now at 0.25mg x 3 per night). I haven't noticed any difference as yet and I have resorted (every 3 nights or so) to taking 2 x co-codamol 15/500mg at about 2 am as I am just desperate for sleep

Should I go to the physio for knee pain?
I finished couch to 5k in May and was averaging about 3.5K per run, but I had about a month's break after finishing the programme. Over these past 2 weeks I've started to run again, and managed to hit 4.3K last week. I've had knee pain for years and it definitely holds me back when I'm running. I get

Hi everyone As you know I've just joined the forum. My fibroscan was 21.8 kpa and my iqr/med 6.1%. I've had various health issues that have meant for the last decade I have been on paracetamol, codeine, ibuprofen, amitriptyline. I couldn't cope with statins although I tried a few. Hey everybody, My DR advised me that loosing weight and exercise will ''help'' with my fibro but due to my weight I struggle with self-esteem (Size 14/16). I lost a lot of weight previously going from a size 22 to a small size 10, but I've quickly chucked the weight back on which I feel is putting strain

In process of diagnosis, advice please?
Hi there. Am very new to the board but hoping I'm in the right place for a bit of advice. A specialist thinks I have this, but I don't think I have 'widespread pain', as seems to be the way it's described in much of the info I'm reading about symptoms. For a number of years I've been having pain in
