Ropinirole dose
Had to stop daily dose. One night had great effect but two or more nights dose left me like a zombie. Chatted with gp and she agreed ok to take every other night or even once a week so reassured. I can cope with a few nights of RLS and using co codamol and know I can pick a night with no events next

GP prescribed vitamin b compound tablets for b12 deficiency
Absolutely flabbergasted! As I mentioned in my initial post my GP wanted to try and treat my b12 def by oral supplement. I managed to persuade him to instead give me loading shots. I have just been to the chemist to collect some other meds and the prescription was there that I hadn't collected. I thought

Low iron?
I've been feeling pretty cack for last couple of weeks. I had bloods done last Friday . I checked them on line and my iron levels are 8. Isn't that rather low? Do I need to check about iron supplements? I do already take spa tone with fresh OJ. I also eat loads of leafy veg etc.

Ferritin Level
For anyone on iron tablets to raise the ferritin level, you need to take your iron tablets last thing at night on an empty stomach but also don't drink tea or coffee for at least one hour before. I only found out from my GP when my ferritin level fell even after increasing the iron tablets. My GP recommends

paracetamol ingredients
I've been ill with viral tonsillitis and was advised by the emergency doctor to take ibuprofen. I explained that I had previously had a gastric problem with this so she advised co-codamol and/or paracetamol. Let me tell you this tonsillitis was vicious - I could not even swallow my own saliva and taking

Feeling frustrated by the NHS ðŸ˜
I’ve got lupus and had chronic sciatica since April. In July I was diagnosed with a torn Achilles’ tendon. 6 doctors later, I’m no further forward with any treatment. I’m in excruciating pain but just keep getting fobbed off with co-codamol and at one point oramorph. I’ve been waiting nearly 11 weeks

Anyone have experience with supplementing iron?
So in conjunction with my thyroid I also had low ferritin. Before I started taking thyroid hormone my ferritin was bottomed out 17 (30-300) and I’m a male by the way. so this is not normal (not bleeding from anywhere). For a while I supplemented iron but it actually brought my ferritin down. The only

Iron Deficiency (Infusions)
Okay, so this isn't entirely related to thyroid I know. But I have low iron as well as Hashimotos. Is it okay for a 16yo to have an iron infusion? My mum had one about a month ago and said it was really good but am I too young? I heard something about getting reliant on infusions but it would just

Does anyone NOT have a conversion issue, but still have low FT3??
Hi All: Has anyone experienced "in range" FT4 and low FT3, without a high rT3, aka conversion issue? I'm trying to develop my argument to ask my doc to try me on t3 only. I'm having conversion issues, most likely related to the low iron and or adrenals. He won't give me IV iron, though I seriously need

Pain after surgery
Hi, I had surgery this past Thursday 12-10-17 and I was given 30/500mg of co-codamol to help with the pain but this isn’t taking the pain away at all. Should I go see my GP in morning and demand something stronger? Because I’m in soo much pain and can’t sleep
