Help!
Hello, I don't know what to do about my shoulder pain and neck pain. The first signs of this was around 3 months ago where initially it really was just a dull pain I thought not much of it but it became worse as the weeks went by, so I started to take just some normal Ibrophen for it but it was not helping

CBD to help endo&IBS pain?
I started smoking weed socially about 2 years ago (maybe once a month). I noticed how much it helped my endo pain alongside my IBS AND my sleep. My pain has been excruciating at the moment and I cannot smoke weed all the time ( due to living with parents, money etc). I’ve done a lot of research on CBD

Ferritin v Haeomoglobin
Evening all I noticed on a previous post a reference to Ferritin tests, I dont think I have ever seen this test on my exhaustive list! Is it the same test as checking your HB to see if your anaemic or is it something else (Dr. dreaded Google says) to do with ' a protein in the body that contains iron

MIRAPEXIN PROLONGED RELEASE
Has anyone heard of this? I had a telephone consultation with my Neurologist who prescribed it, because I am not happy with the Gabapentin I am taking. Combined use of 2x600 mg of Gabapentin, 2 co-dydramol and 0.5 mg of Clonazipam each night is still giving me insomnia and restless legs. I was so proud

Hi all. I'm new to this hub - but wondered if anyone could help me with some advice please. Last week in January I was airlifted to hospital where I stayed for a week following a diagnosis of 3 blood clots on my lung: Pulmonary Embolism. I am on Apixaban 5mgs x2 daily along with Lisinopril 40mgs, Amlodipine

CLL & the Corona virus
I have been on the FLAIR drug trials for five years, taking Ibrutinib, plus Co-Trimoxazole and Aciclovir. My blood cancer has gone into remission, but there are still enough bad cells for me to continue on the drugs. Recently I developed a dry cough and inflamed vocal cords. The GP put me on penicillin

NHS website - Blood tests for iron deficiency anaemia
Just happened to notice this paragraph when I was checking something else entirely.
Blood tests for iron deficiency anaemia
Your GP will usually order a full blood count (FBC) test. This will find out if the number of red blood cells you have (your red blood cell count) is normal

Pain relief in Stim / Gonal f
Hi ladies, just wondered if anyone had advice for pain relief on gonal f? The headache was almost immediate after my first shot and still there today, it’s a real stinker! I was allowed co-codamol on down reg, anyone know if that still applies with the stim strage? Thank you x

Advice- lap or hormones
So cutting a long story incredibly short . I have previously diagnosed with Endo approx 10 years ago via a Lap which was then burnt off by a general gynae. Fast forward to last 6 months I have been in so much pain - mainly right sided Ovarian pain . Went to GP who referred me for an ultrasound scan .

Best Iron Supplement to up Iron & Ferritin levels
Hi My Iron and Ferritin are always on the low side. Recently my iron was 13, 3 months before it was 8 and ferritin never seems to go above 30. I am currently on 1 ferrous fumarate daily 210mg, but this never seems to increase levels higher. I can't tolerate two a day as I get a very bad stomach. I have

Can you help with iron panel blood test please
Ferritin. 67. Range 30-470 RBC. 3.7. 3.80-5.30 Haemoglobin 117. 120-150 Haematacrit 0.36. 0.37-0.45 I had been told in the past it was anaemia of a chronic illness. But with my ferritin level where it is surely I could improve this with some treatment. (

Dangers of b12
I read this on web MD - is it correct? Vitamin B12 is LIKELY SAFE for most people when taken by mouth, applied to the skin, taken through the nose, administered as a shot, or injected into the vein (by IV). Vitamin B12 is considered safe, even in large doses. Mild itching has been reported in one person
