Post nerve block concerns
I had a nerve root block done yesterday on l4/l5 of my spine. and all of a sudden i keep having dizzy spells shortness of breath and head aches. Is this a normal thing before ringing my gp and specialist wasting time for other patients.

Rotator Cuff complication?
Hello and Happy Easter to you all. I'm once again in need of advice, if anyone has any ideas/knowledge. Some years ago I had a rotator cuff injury which eventually healed and caused no further problems, but I suspect it's now rearing its head again. I've been on 11.5mg pred for over 2 weeks now, just

3 yr old post meningitis
My son is 3 years old now. He had pneumococcal meningitis at the age of 1 and had 3 hours of seizures. He had issues with his heart functioning and struggled a lot to survive. He was also operated with a VP shunt for hydrocephalus which he acquired because of meningitis. But the first surgery was a failure

Coming off Amitriptyline for Migraine Relief...there is hope!!
Hi, I'm a newbie to this site but just thought I'd share my experience so far with Amitriptyline. I've suffered from migraines since I was about 18 (I'm 53 now) so I've had lots of experience with them. I had meningitis when I was 17 and my GP thinks that there might be a link (some type of scaring to

Pudendal nerve block
I am having a pudendal nerve block Monday for chronic pelvic pain. I had sacral and pelvic nerves along with nerves to the bladder damaged during surgery. I am really curious how long it takes for pain to subside after the block and how long it lasts. Hope you will reply

Root Nerve Block
Hello My next exciting procedure I have to look forward to is a Nerve Root Block in the left side of my spine. I would love to hear about any one else's experiences with a NRB and if it helped. I have fibromyalgia so I'm anxious about the Nerve being touched and how it will react. Tell me your worse.

Good Morning. My story is far too long and too boring to tell but ... what I would like to ask is, has anyone ever had a Oppitical Nerve Block done to confirm CRPS?

I'm having an ilioinguinal nerve block for chronic lower abdominal pain on Wednesday and was wondering if any of you had any experience with nerve blocks? I'm a bit nervous and don't really know what to expect. I've also just been prescribed gabapentin by my GP for pain, what experiences have people

Is the diagnosis right?
In 2007 I found it more and more difficult to walk down stairs in the morning. I was getting stiffer and made an appointment with GP. Blood tests did not show a raised esr but none the less I was diagnosed with PMR and started on 20 mg prednisalone. This had little or no effect and was raised to 40 which
