More pain after having mirena coil?
Just hoping for some reassurance if this has happened to anyone else, as taking
paracetamol
, ibuprofen and codeine isn't even beginning to touch the pains. Thank you! xx

A-typical Raynaud's
Not painful except for one night when I needed
paracetamol
to be able to sleep. I cannot find much on the SRUK website about this variation. Does anyone else have it?

No issue taking paracetamol before or after Covid-19 vaccination (UPDATE)
There has recently been discussion over taking
paracetamol
before having a Covid-19 vaccination. The USA news source I found has now been updated to make it clear that they were
WRONG
to include
paracetamol
(referred to by the USA name acetaminophen and its leading brand name Tylenol).

I’m just feeling really lost right now after my laparoscopy
They said that they had fitted the coil like I asked and to take
paracetamol
/ibuprofen for any pain, and just sent me home.

Herniated Disc/Sciatica HELP!
This showed that I have a herniated disc which is basically lodged into my sciatic nerve...I am currently on 75mg Pregabalin x3 daily, Naproxen and
paracetamol
(as I couldn’t cope with tramadol) I am unable to live my normal life, can’t sit down for longer than 10 mins, can’t drive through pain, hard

Another Crazy Day
Still in excruciating pain but advised to take Oramorph and
Paracetamol
. The CSN who rang whilst I was in A&E said it wasn't as bad as it sounds and the Carboplatin will help reduce the tumours.

Covid Vaccine
My wife ( who does not have AFIB) also had the jab and developed a very sore arm within hours followed by a high temp 38.5 c , which was controlled by
paracetamol
during Tuesday.

Scrap yesterday’s happy post, I lied!
I took my 1
paracetamol
, that did jack and went to bed! Well, I didn’t sleep! I couldn’t lie left because it felt like my bowel was going to tear! But I couldn’t lie right because it felt like my back was going to tear! I’m still in huge amounts of pain! HUGE!

Covid Jab Side Effects Are 'Normal', Say UK GPs. But Here's When To Seek Help
If you do have mild side effects – like a headache or joint pain, for example – it’s recommended you treat them with painkillers, such as
paracetamol
.

Had my first Covid jab 💜💛🧡
However, I kept warm in bed, took
paracetamol
, kept hydrated and tried to sleep when I could. I knew it would pass and today I feel 100 times better! Don’t be afraid of having the vaccine if you worry about the side effects. They are nasty but short lived.

Gabapentin/Pregabalin - Who is actually finding this helps their RLS?
You see the Clonazepam does not work well with high dose opioids and Co-dydramol is a clever combination of codeine and
paracetamol
(10/500) whereby you can only take 1000 of
Paracetamol
at a time, which prevents you from taking more codeine.

Vaccine
After taking
Paracetamol
every 4hrs I started to feel better after 48hrs. I do hope I now have some antibodies and I also know what to expect when I get 2nd dose . You think at the time your not going to recover but you do . Thank God we have a Vaccine.

Post second ablation
Shivering achey joints, etc, took
paracetamol
and plenty of fluids. These symptoms passed after a couple of days, but I have been left with terrible fatigue! Also now when I do my daily walks ( slow paced, on the flat maximum 45 mins), I am getting breathless.

Advice gratefully received. Dysphasia, b12 deficiency,
Its so difficult to eat most foods and tablets like
paracetamol
tend to get stuck in my throat, so I'm now on liquid
paracetamol
. I'm living on soup and on my best days - textured food that I can eat is very sloppy porridge. If you got this far, thank you for reading. X

The leg cramps have got so bad been taking
paracetamol
. I'm now on day 5 with the same side effects and they are getting worse. Has anyone else experienced these side effects before? Do they go away when your body gets used to the drug?

CAPD and PAIN
They suggest I take
paracetamol
and the tell me the full during full-drain will subside after 2 weeks. I guess I am after some reassurance from anyone else that has this setup? That us line into the void around the bladder, and the using APD. Does it all settle down after around 14 days?

Advice please
I have basically given up on my G.P because I’m just getting nowhere, I’m on Amitriptyline and have been for about 2-3 years it doesn’t touch the pain I also take ibuprofen and
paracetamol
, I’ve been on gabapentin that didn’t work either. I’m on the clinically vulnerable list because of Covid-19.
