Post Ablation pain

I had an Ablation done last Friday 9th April. Since then I have had pain in my chest which I have been told is Pericardial inflammation. I have been taking Colchicine, Codiene and Paracetamol. I just wondered if anyone else had experienced this and how long it lasted for. It doesn't seem to be improving at all. I also experienced a TIA 2 days later which hopefully I am all over now. I still seem to have jelly legs. Thank you

Hi there I had Pericarditis (inflammation of the pericardium) and was prescribed colchicine by the Cardiologist. The Pericarditis went on for several months but was eased considerably by the colchicine. I’ve not had your ablation experience but purely pericardial inflammation I felt was helped with colchicine medication alone but took a quite a long time to heal /subside.

Thank you. Hopefully it will soon end but time will tell. The breathlessness is hard to handle but you understand that. Fingers crossed.
