How do people cope with daily life?
After another bad week I’m sat contemplating how people go about daily life with ibs. Tomorrow I have to go to a wedding of one of my partners relatives and I’m dreading it purely because I know from the moment we leave the house my anxiety and Ibs will start. I know I’ll be stressing about where the

Anxiety medicine?
I started on Buspar about a month ago, if that. And honestly I don’t see any real effect from it. Like ever since I started taking it I’ve just felt crappy, altogether. I haven’t had nearly as much panic attacks as I used to before I started on it but it doesn’t help ease my anxiety. It just stops my

Lexapro or Zoloft better for GAD?
I’ve been taking Lexapro for about 10 years and it’s been fantastic, but I’m sensing it might be losing its effectiveness. For those who have taken both, was Zoloft as effective in treating GAD as Lexapro? I also take Trazadone at night for insomnia. Thank you!

Update in Lexapro
It's been about two months since I started taking 5mgs of Lexapro. Since I have been feeling better. For the first time in years I stared going out more and although I sometimes feel hesitant, I still push myself to do it. I am not sure if it's the medication that is actually helping but I will continue

Social anxiety, panic attacks, depression, NA meetings for codeine addiction. Living in west London.
I have social anxiety and panic attacks and go to NA meetings to deal with codeine addiction. I live in Shepherd's Bush, London. I do not meet anyone because of my conditions. Depression is on and off and I'm on medication for it.

Ssris to deal with a severe bout of anxiety and depression before moving away from home. Pls help.
My fiancé and I are moving to Phoenix, Arizona in January and we live in Alabama with my family now. In September, I was hit with severe anxiety attacks out of the blue. (I had a really stressful job at the time so I thought that may have been the cause.) Well after I had those horrible anxiety attacks

Self destruction and my inevitable dimise
I am so so so good at being self destructive. It could be mentally or from drink or literally anything. It seems like I enjoy making things harder for myself. Unfortunatley I am now also missing my ex really bad with the cozy weather. I lost my phone and my credit card and someone spent $300 on the card

PANIC ATTACK? NO, ATTACK PANIC II TRIGGER
Come along with me. We're going out to have a panic attack. Yep, we're going to face it and accept it. So, I'm a little nervous as I walk through the market hoping I can get my shopping done before I have a pa. I don't enjoy this anymore , I put it off until the cupboards are bare. I hurry a little

Anxiety comes and goes
I found that lately my anxiety has been higher than usual. Its interesting because for the most part I have it well managed for the last few months. I am taking my xanax as needed and it works. However, it really makes me tired. Also I feel that after the anxious moments I reflect too much on the negative

Relief
I’ve been on buspar for a little over 2 weeks now along with my propranolol and I’m FINALLY starting to feel better. I have my moments still at night, but I manage to stay calm with some breathing exercises my therapist taught me. I think the most annoying anxiety symptom I have right now are the heart

PANIC ATTACK ? NO, ATTACK PANIC.
I have been several ME's during my life. Not necessarily due to age but more to where I was in my timeline. Every life process requires a different set of skills and it can be a real challenge acquiring them. I stumbled a bit when I was a young Mother learning to become more self-reliant. This

Here's some healthy options to help with Anxiety
Hi all! Just an fyi to help get rid of anxiety: Many have found that taking magnesium (magnesium malate is best) and ginseng help a lot, they calm the mind body and spirit and get rid of sticky negative thoughts the loop around in the mind. Also, getting outside, laying on the grass to get grounded

Potential over-reaction, or real reason to be concerned? (Borderline Personality Disorder, Anxiety, or something else entirely?)
Hey again, folks. So, as I've previously mentioned, I am dealing with severe anxiety and depression. I've started looking into Borderline Personality Disorder, as a lot of the things I'm experiencing fit into that like puzzle pieces. Extreme fear of abandonment/disappointing others (even going so far
