I’ve been on buspar for a little over 2 weeks now along with my propranolol and I’m FINALLY starting to feel better. I have my moments still at night, but I manage to stay calm with some breathing exercises my therapist taught me. I think the most annoying anxiety symptom I have right now are the heart palpitations. I’ve been dealing with them since I was 14 (28 now), but I still find it hard to get used to dealing with it. I’ll take heart palpitations though over feeling completely terrified that I’m going to die all the time. I’m just glad I am feeling better.
I hope the rest of you guys start to find some relief if you haven’t 💜.

That’s great news Labnerd! I just got back on Buspar a few days ago and I just quit propranolol because i don’t feel I need it maybe will use once in a while as needed.
Well I’m very happy for you. May things only continue to get better for you.
I was taking propranolol twice a day, but I weened myself to just taking one tablet a day. I take 5mg of the buspar three times a day. I just feel like that’s so many pills to remember to take. I plan on stopping the propranolol soon.
This site has really helped me. I felt so alone with all my symptoms, and felt so silly trying to explain to people what was going on. I have found several people on here who have experienced the same things as me.
My dr added buspar a few months ago. And it does help me. I started feeling better and cut back and boy was that a mistake but doing better now. I'm glad it is helping.
It took me a bit to get used to the buspar. It made me really tired at first and kind of dizzy. Hopefully it doesn’t cause me any headaches. I have some Xanax as a back up but I’ve been really lucky and not had to touch my Xanax in over a month. I hope you find some relief soon.
