Nosebleeds and thyroid / blood test query / going private
Hi there :) You were all so helpful when I was first diagnosed with hypothyroidism last year, and I was hoping I could trouble you all with another question. - My levothyroxine was raised to 75mg a day in February based on my NHS blood test (TSH 5.91 mU/L, free T4 15.8pmol/L). - Not really sure if

Overactive Bladder Syndrome
Bit strange to post this here but bear with me please. It seems that many of the med's for OAB have a side effect of high heart rate. I've been diagnosed with Paroxysmal Tachycardia and am trying Tolterodine for my OAB (which increased my comfort level considerably) but have had to stop as my monthly

Any help on my issue would be great
Years and years ago I was very very over weight hmm 26 stone .. I used to have a lot of issues with jar and ear pain, first the doctor thought it might be a dental problem so I had to get my teeth investigated and it wasn't so I was put on medication for nerve damage with some investigations via ENT

How to deal with Tinnitus?
Dear community, I'm rather new with Tinnitus suffering since the end of August, first in one year, now both ears and it is unbearable. I also got a feeling of Fullness and Blocked of the right ear but MRI and specialist consultant were not useful to find the cause just yet so trying to investigate

hi all, creeping up to 1 year since my TBI. I stayed in hosp for 4 days before being discharged but despite this my TBI was classed as ‘severe’. I am lucky in the sense of I seem to have recovered really well. I don’t have any symptoms anymore apart from the odd BPPV spell which I fix with the epley.

Flare up after ear infection
I've had ear infection which the doctor gave me antibiotic spray for, thankfully ear pain had gone after a few days, but left with jaw pain, headaches and extreme exhaustion, as soon as I feel a little better I feel I have the energy to do a little bit, then I'm straight down again after the slightest

just wondering whether anyone knows if Thyroxine affects ESR blood test results. Having taken higher dose of thyroxine for a few weeks now my TSH has reduced considerably from 4.62 to 1.6 but an ESR blood test was done at the same time and is now above the reference range and registered at 24. Nails!
My nails are really deteriorating, soft, bendy, peeling. They’ve been poor for ages but this is much worse. Nothing topical is helping. I’m on 75 mcgs levothyroxine and my TSH levels are good - and on 0.01 % estriol cream for dryness. Could it be that which is making the difference, although I was

my doctor prescribed me prochlorperazine when I started with tinnitus and it seemed to calm me down, I think it treats anxiety as well as sickness and dizziness.
