LDN Low Dose Naproxen. Experience good or bad?
I'm constantly researching other meds to check with my neurologist about. Tramadol doesnt seem to be working for me anymore either. Wondering what the experience with this drug is for anyone who has tried it. Good or bad?

Hi all, so I've been on decapeptyl forabout 6 months and HRT for about 3 months, I'm not sure how long I'm going to be on this as I'm waiting for a hysterectomy, I've been mostly pain free for about 5 months but for the last month or so I've been getting pains on my left and right side, and the other

Endo flare - Day 6...
Hi everyone, New here. I found myself having a massive flare lately... I was under GNRH for the past 4 years... and this year I have been referred to a specialist in the U.K. He decided that I needed to change my hormonotherapy (4y was too long). And I’m waiting for my surgery date.... (could take

It is not Sunday - but I thought I would update you on my diet experiment
So, I went all out vegan on Sunday, I also stopped all oils including the Omega 3 red krill oil I have been taking for a couple of years, and other than a multivitamin and CalcD supplement stopped all other additions. Last Thursday, my Metoject Mtx dose went up slightly from 15ml to 17.5ml. On Sunday

Thursday - Why is stiffness not referred to as painful seizure of the joints!!
It is becoming abundantly clear that Metoject is not controlling my RA! I am due to up the dosage today - so we shall see how that goes. As yet, I have continued to avoid taking the Prednisone but I fear I may have to give in to it. Mind you, I am only taking one Naproxen daily too, so should increase

Does tramadol help ?
I’ve been prescribed tramadol by my specialist after naproxen failed to even touch the pain in my last cycle. Was wondering if it helps with endo pain & how often should i take it ? Also do i take it when my pains start in full force or can i take it as soon as i feel them about to start?

Long term flare, not releasing its grip but making mine weak!
I have had a persistent flare in my left wrist, little finger and thumb, for over a year now. In addition Raynauds has suddenly reappeared - darn (ginger tea helps with this I think - I will at least try it). ! Metoject improved things but didn't solve the problem. I know steroids would sort it out

Fed up and limping around trying to walk my dog on a crutch!
Barnaby2 Hi there-well I am still not completely diagnosed. In January the GP thought that I had PMR and was put on Prednisolone. The pain got a lot better until gradually reducing to 9mg in July. A different GP as I had complained that all the pains were coming back asked for advice from a Rheumatologist

New and new meds too
Hello I have recently found your site and have posted a few comments. I would love to get some feedback on the new to me combination of Etoricoxib 60mg and Nefopam 30mg as I’m having several undesirable side-effects, notably lack of sleep which never helps anyone suffering with pain. I’m only three days

Help with severe pain
Going to bed early with naproxen because of a pain in my perineum area. It's also sore to touch coccyx and 'sit' bones. I've had this before a couple of times but no idea how to describe it. It's severe , does anyone else get this? What on earth could it be?

Antibiotics safer for tinnitus
Hi all, I have tinnitus as a result of taking Naproxen three years ago, antibiotics (Metronidazole) have made the condition noticeably\considerably worst just after only 8 tablets of a course of 21, I stopped taking them immediately at that point but the damage was done. I am sure in my life I will

Results:Ibuprofen was significantly more effective against human prostate cancer cells in vitro than the other tested nonprescription NSAID
"MTT analysis indicated that clinically relevant concentrations of ibuprofen significantly reduced the survival of LNCaP human prostate tumor cells. TUNEL analysis demonstrated that this was due in part to a significant number of LNCaP cells undergoing apoptosis. Ibuprofen also induced the same amount

Steroids and increased vulnerability??
Hi - I started hydroxychoroquine 7 weeks ago and also been on 1000mg of naproxen. My energy levels improved in the mornings but my knee joints didn’t and also felt so weak by 3pm (which you can’t give into when you live on your own with two lively dogs). I asked the GP to go back on another 3 week course
