Did laproscopy/mirena coil help your pain?
Hi all I’m about 8 weeks post diagnosis / first excision (laser) and had mirena coil fitted. Wondering if excision or the mirena has helped anyone else feel relief from pain? So far, it made my pain SO much worse following the surgery and only now has it calmed down to about the same level / frequency

Cramping after lap (Mirena? Healing? IBS?)
Me in a nutshell: Laparoscopy, endo removal and Mirena insertion just over a month ago. I feel like I'm seeing good healing progress now. Cuts are healed over and spotting has calmed right down. However, I seem to still be getting cramping most days. It feels like period pain. It's not terrible but

Post menopause and mirena coil
Hi, has anyone still had the mirena coil in when post menopausal? At what stage did you have it removed? I'm 54 and definitely post menopause but still have the mirena. Doc advises removing it at the end of this year, I'm thinking of removing it now as I've developed bladder problems since December.

Period with Mirena
Hi Has anyone found they still have a period with the Mirena? I thought it would stop my period all together like other pills have in the past. I’ve had it in for a year and 3 months (when I had my first lap with excision) so I think it’s enough time to say it’s settled. I also find that my periods

3 weeks on from lap: period, crap stitches, low mood, ups and downs etc
Hello everyone, I hope you're all keeping well and making progress with your journeys through the endo experience... I wanted to post an update as I've been on a bit of an interesting ride since my operation. The first week I felt better than I ever dreamed I would, with no shoulder tip and minimal

Rushed into Hospital
Hi girls, I’ve been rushed into hospital with extreme sweating, going hot and cold, being sick and in extreme agony in my pelvic area. It’s 4 days since I had my laparoscopy where they diagnosed stage 3 Endometriosis and painful bladder syndrome. I thought that would be the start of the end to my pain

Mirena Coil Questions
Hi all, I was diagnosed with Endometriosis in March '19 after undergoing a laparoscopy. Three weeks ago a large part of my womb lining fell out and I was taken back in to hospital, where I was advised to get the Coil fitted. So two days ago I had the Mirena Coil implanted and have been in agony since

Laparoscopy on zoladex
Hi ladies, I had a laparoscopy on Tuesday for endometriosis, everything looked fairly normal but I’ve been on zoladex for 5 months and had my last injection only a couple of days before surgery. I’m thinking that the zoladex and Mirena are going to make the endometriosis practically invisible? Is this

Interstitial Cystitis (painful bladder syndrome), FODMAP diet and Endometriosis
I had my first laparoscopy yesterday. My surgeon found a lot more Endometriosis than she was expecting as I was previously diagnosed with it from an MRI scan but not all of it showed up on that. It was found in the pouch of Douglas, between my womb and bowel, around my bladder, and around the front of

Best pill for people sensitive to Mirena coil?
Hi everyone, it's my first post here - hoping some of you can help! I've been trying to manage my endo just using herbal remedies for the last six months, but I've decided that it's not working for me enough to continue. I have also modified my diet somewhat (by cutting out gluten, dairy and red meat
