Period with Mirena

Hi

Has anyone found they still have a period with the Mirena? I thought it would stop my period all together like other pills have in the past. I’ve had it in for a year and 3 months (when I had my first lap with excision) so I think it’s enough time to say it’s settled.

I also find that my periods are regular (which I guess is a plus) but the blood always looks old and I pass clots for a few days.

Could this mean that it hasn’t helped my endo?

I still get pains but they aren’t as severe as before. However, my pain doesn’t correlate with my periods.
