Did laproscopy/mirena coil help your pain?

Hi all

I’m about 8 weeks post diagnosis / first excision (laser) and had mirena coil fitted. Wondering if excision or the mirena has helped anyone else feel relief from pain?

So far, it made my pain SO much worse following the surgery and only now has it calmed down to about the same level / frequency I experienced pain before.

I am also two weeks post op and mirena coil. My period started yesterday and I am experiencing absolute crippling pains so much worse than they ever were before. Can anybody tell me if this is normal and will it calm down? Thanks
