Period returning after mirena coil removal
I had the mirena coil inserted during my surgery in November 2020, it caused me nothing but hell so I had I taken out in April 2021. My periods have been a bit all over the place since then I’ve been bleeding for 3 days really heavily and before I had the coil my cycles were regular and I’d bleed for

Mirena for heavy periods
Hello, I had the Mirena coil fitted 4 months ago for heavy periods, with fibroids and adenomyosis. I had to wait a year to get a gynecology appointment, and had a hysteroscopy, and the Mirena fitted at the same time. I have not had a follow up appointment, and have been finding it hard to even get through

Coping with emotional side of diagnosis
Hi! I'm new here and I'm only 5 days post laparoscopy which confirmed and attempted to remove stage 3 endometriosis. I'm recovering and making slow progress every day but I am really struggling with the mental side of the diagnosis. I am only 18 so it feels like no one else I know has to worry so much

Hi all, I’ve recently had an MRI that revealed adenomyosis and endo in the pouch of Douglas. I’m currently on the Cerelle mini pill, which hasn’t been helping. My endo specialist has given me three options to move forward, and I’d be interested to hear from anyone who has tried any of these and how

Mirena coil moved, strings missing, possible surgery needed to remove.
I suffer with stage 4 endo which continues to return despite a number of surgeries including two excision with endo specialist. My last major surgery I was told they’d be inserting mirena coil, I didn’t want it and told them that but they insisted it was pretty much the “only way to keep it under control

Mini-pill has ‘stopped’ pain ? Is this even endo?
Hi — wondered if anyone has experienced this I was having excruciating pain every month from March 2020 to beginning of this year. I have had an MRI which shows a large adhesion b/w uterus and bowel/rectum, evidence of cystic areas, a large nodule on uterus and evidence of adenomyosis. I have been put

Negative laparascopy
Hi everyone, I had my first lap today and was told I didn’t have endometriosis. They suggested the mirena coil to help my symptoms. Has anyone else been told they were negative and to get the coil and how did they find it? I have anxiety so I’m worried it will affect my overall mood. Thanks! Lauren

Microgynon and Mirena Coil together? How did you get on?
I have been instructed to take the pill (despite having the mirena) until my 2nd lap (no date as yet) but after 3 days I have been sick every morning and am feeling awful! Anyone else taken both?

Has anyone else switched to Kyleena from Mirena and had Endo symptoms return? + migraines?
My "suspected" Endo symptoms were treated quite successfully with Mirena for 5 years, then switched to Kyleena in 2019 - I only just today realised/remembered that this switch had happened when I came across the little card they give you at the appointment! Not normally something I would forget, but

Having suffered since i was 11, but blessed with 3 children, i was rushed to hospital last Wednesday with suspected appendicitis or an ectopic pregnancy following Marina coil 1 1/2 months ago. Advice removing coil? And trying for a baby?
I have been told today that I should try for a baby sooner rather than later, I had the coil fitted a year ago to help with my endo and I have been very lucky and it's helped. Has anyone had the Marina coil and how long did it take to get pregnant,(I know we are all different but I need to work stuff

Diagnosis at 24
Hi all new to this group. Had a lap Saturday as I’ve been suspected endo for years, they didn’t find endo however said the extent of my adeno was quite advanced for my age and usually seen in middle aged women. I also had some scar tissue removed from my bowel anyone else heard of this? I’ve had mirena

Mirena coil and leg pain
Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice. I was diagnosed with rectovaginal endometriosis stage 3 in early April. At the same time as the laparoscopy, I had the Mirena coil fitted. It has taken a while to settle down and I’ve had random bleeding between periods etc. Actual periods have been lighter though

Mirena Coil replaced
Hi I’m getting my Mirena coil replaced today as it’s been over 5 years since my first one. It’s been like night and day for me on the coil, no periods, minimal pain, even found it easier to keep weight off. My question is, has anyone found after getting their coil replaced it didn’t work as effectively

Mirena coil pain
I had the Mirena coil fitted just two days ago and I am still in absolute agony. I’ve had to phone in sick at work today. Has anyone else had this and if so when did the pain ease off? I have read that you shouldn’t have any pain effecting your daily activities. I really can’t cope with it anymore and
